ReservationAgreement.  Guests acknowledge,understand and agree that the moment Guests provide their credit card andreservation information, they have accepted the Safety Harbor Motel
RentalTerms and Conditions which include our cancellation policy.  CancellationPolicy.  You may cancel your reservation for nocharge until 3 p.m. seven (7) days prior to arrival. We will charge you foryour entire stay if you must cancel after this deadline. 
Please also note that a change in the length ordates of your stay my result in a rate change. There are no refunds for earlydeparture, eviction or cancellation of days. Rental Termsand Conditions: Check in Time is at 3 PM or afterCheck out Time is 11 AM Early check-in and check-out is available for an extra fee and issubject to availability.Pets are allowed in select rooms for a fee of $10 per night perpet.   Pet Policy: We are a dog friendlyestablishment and welcome travelers with dogs. Safety Harbor Motel welcomeswell-behaved, housebroken dogs.  Two dogs maximum.  If a pet causesdamage or disturbs other guests, we reserve the right to require that the petbe removed immediately from the premises and upon failure of the guest to doso, to terminate the stay without a refund.  Dogs must be on a leash and under directrestraint at all times outside your room on motel property.  Dogs must be clean, fully house-trained, parasite free and disease free(i.e.  Ticks, fleas, Parvo, etc.) Dogs are expected to be quiet, wellbehaved, and non-destructive.  Guests with pets will be given anopportunity to eliminate any noise complaints.  In the event you areunable to satisfy this clause, you may be asked to immediately remove the petfrom the premises and upon failure of the guest to do so, to leave the motelwithout a refund and will be financially responsible for any and all costsassociated with the complaint.  We ask that you please clean up after yourdogs on both motel property and the surrounding area. Safety Harbor Motel isnot responsible for dogs that may exit guest rooms, including but not limitedto any escape as a result of motel staff entry or exit of the guest room.Here is a list of breeds we DO NOTallow: Akita,Australian Blue Heeler, Boxer, Bull Mastiffs, Chow, Dalmatians, Doberman,English Bulldog, Great Dane, Husky (any type), Malamute, Mastiff (any variation),Pit Bulls, Presa Canarios, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard, Wolf-dog hybrid.  We reserve the right to decline any dog forany reason.  If any dog is deemed to be athreat or nuisance, Safety Harbor Motel reserves the right to evict the petand/or the guest at any time.  Dogs mustbe at least 12 months old, house-broken, neutered or sprayed.Maximum Occupancy: Room types vary in occupancybut each room must have at least one registered Adult 21 years old or older perroom. Safety Harbor Motel has the ability to alter this policy at anytime.  We reserve the right tocancel/terminate or reject reservations if made under false pretenses.  Violations of this policy will result inimmediate eviction.  Subletting is notpermitted.  
Non-Smoking – No Exceptions.  This is a 100 % NON-SMOKING motel, includingmedical marijuana.   Staff are trained and skilled in identifying theodors from prohibited items.  If our investigation concludes that you havesmoked in your room, or brought a prohibited item into our facility, you willbe fined, and evicted without any refund and Guests’ credit card will becharged $500.
HOUSEKEEPING/ROOM INSPECTION/RIGHT OF ENTRY: For Guests staying for morethan one week, housekeeping is provided weekly on either Monday or Fridaydepending on the date of your arrival. Clean towels are available daily uponrequest. Simply place dirty towels outside of your door in the providedbasket by 10 am and clean towels will be delivered that afternoon.
Cleaning Fee: $100+ Excessive Dirty room or Damage Fee (due tooccupants, guests or pets) chargeable to renter, at time of checkout.
Damage and/or Theft of Motel Property: You are liable for any damagewhatsoever caused (whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) tothe room(s), motel’s premises or property caused by you or any person in yourparty while either staying or visiting the room occupant at the motel duringyour stay.  Safety Harbor Motel reserves the right to retain your creditcard and/or debit card details as they are presented at registration and chargeor debit the card such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deemnecessary to compensate or make good the cost or expenses incurred or sufferedby Safety Harbor Motel as a result of the information stated above. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve theright and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for anydamage incurred to your room or the motel property during your stay, includingand without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items,smoking fees, cleaning fees, etc.  We will make every effort to rectifyany damage internally prior to contracting specialist to make the repairs, andtherefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incurto a minimum. 
Damage Discovered After Check Out: Guest Rooms found with waste thrownaround, in complete disorder, and/or “trashed” will be subject to a cleaningfee.
Damage to Room: Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishing and equipmentincluding the removal of electronic equipment (if applicable), towels, artwork,etc. will be charged a fee for replacement and labor. Any damage to motelproperty, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of theregistered guest for each particular room.  Any costs associated withrepairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registeredguest.  In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued. 
Damage to Mattresses and Bedding: Damage to mattresses and linenincluding; towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads, blankets resulting fromthe use of body oils, make-up, shoe-polish, etc. will result in a charge forthe special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article.
Personal Information: All personal information will be keptconfidential and secured. Personal information will not be sold or givenfor solicitation. We reserve the right to keep your personal information forfutures stays and advertising purposes.
Things that are beyond our control:   Motel works very hard to ensure Guests’ stayis pleasant.  However, there are thingsout of our control and we cannot guarantee against such things.  Example of things beyond our control include:breakdown of air conditioners, TVs, electronics and any appliances,interruptions of utilities, internet access, disturbances on nearby properties,construction noise, power or water outages, or Acts of God or Force Majeure .  An Act of God or force majeure is defined ashurricanes, earthquakes, floods, fire, unusual transportation delays, wares,insurrections, acts of terrorism, closing of the state or federal government,and any other such causes which by the exercise of due diligence the Motel isunable in whole or in part to prevent or overcome.  Guest are asked to report any inoperativeequipment to our office promptly, so we can make every reasonable effort tohave repairs done quickly and efficiently. GuestResponsibilities: Guests willbe immediately evicted from the Motel without refund for the following actions:(1) Being involved in any police matter unless the matter arises through nofault of your own or due to circumstances beyond your control; (2) Possessingor using any illegal substances, including drugs; (3) Disrupting other guestswith loud noise, TV, music, disorderly conduct, over-crowding the room or creatinga nuisance ; (4) tampering with or disabling smoke detectors or other safetymeasures; and/or (5) violating any other rules stipulated in the Safety HarborMotel Terms and Conditions. Terminationby Owner:  Should there be changesdue to ownership transfers, properties being removed from rental use or otherunforeseen circumstances which make the reserved room unrentable, Guests shallnot hold the Safety Harbor Motel liable. In such cases, Guests will be relocated to a comparable room.  If no comparable rooms are available, Guestswill receive a full refund.Indemnificationand Hold Harmless:  Guests acknowledge andunderstands that each and every guest or guardian is solely responsible for anyproperty damage, accident or injury to any person or pet or loss sustained byany person or pet, including loss of money, jewelry and other items of personalproperty, arising out of or in any way related to Guests use of thepremises.  Guests are responsible for thesafety of themselves, their children and their guests.  Guests hereby agree to INDEMNIFY and holdSafety Harbor Motel, its employees, officers, owners and representativesharmless from any all claims including those of third parties, arising out ofor in any way related to Guests and pets, use of premises, the items ofpersonal property provided herein, surrounding areas and from or against anyomission, neglect or default of Guest and their guests/invitees.  All Guests will hold property owner andSafety Harbor Motel harmless with respect thereto.  Guests areadvised that for the safety of themselves and other guests, the Motel propertyis equipped with security cameras. Byacknowledging these TERMS AND CONDITIONS, Guests understand and agree to theabove conditions and requirements for renting at the Safety Harbor Motel.  Guests further agree that they specificallyauthorize the charging of their credit card for any and all damage done to thepremises or additional cleaning or other fees noted above that exceeds thetotal amount paid.
