About a 1-hour drive from Portland on the base of Mount Hood, Zigzag Mountain Farm offers the perfect escape from the city with 50 acres of meadows and forest, bordering thousands of acres of national forest. Camp in your own tent, van or small RV, stay in one of 8 yurts, or rent the 2-bedroom original cabin. Camping is not designated by sites, but by areas. You select the area you prefer and set up your tent. The farm is home to an organic garden, campfire circle, picnic area, a city bus with a campers' kitchen, outdoor seating area with BBQ, kids play structure and hiking trails. A year-round creek flows through the property.
During busier times, we may require a 2-night minimum stay in the yurts. You need to choose at least two nights to see if any yurts are available.

Property and Cancelation Policies :
We have a 2-week cancellation policy. Any cancellations or changes must be made at least 14 days before the check in date. For any late cancellations or changes we will charge the full amount of the first night of the reservation as a late cancellation fee.
Terms and Conditions
A government-issued ID is required upon check-in. For the safety and comfort of our guests, we may refuse service to anyone for valid, non-discriminatory reasons.

We ask all guests to practice social distancing to help preventing the spread of the coronavirus and protect our communities. We are restricting the number of people in certain areas to help follow physical distancing guidelines. Our playground is closed. We ask everyone to wear cloth face coverings or a face masks in any shared space when around others (i.e. others that are not in your party/people who you do not live with) in addition to keeping a 6' distance.
Please practice responsible outdoor recreation and “pack in, pack out” — bring everything you need, including food, ... and hand sanitizer. We have hand-washing stations available and ask you to wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, and avoid touching your eyes, noes, and mouth.

Smoking is allowed in designated smoking areas only. Alcohol is only allowed in dedicated areas and on a casual basis.
Dogs are allowed and must stay on-leash at all times while on our property. We charge a fee of $5/day for dogs in tents/vans, and $10/night for yurt/cabin stays. Dogs should display tags showing proof of current license and rabies vaccination and demonstrate appropriate social interaction. Dogs are not allowed in the playground area and in the food prep area. Handlers must pick up and dispose of their dog's waste in the appropriate receptacle, accept responsibility for any damage or injury caused by their dog, and supervise their dog at all times. Handlers must also be considerate of other guests by playing quietly with dogs in the early morning and evening hours.
A parent, legal guardian or an adult leader of an organized group, such as a Girl Scout troop, church group or similar organization, must accompany all guests under 18 years of age. Respect and tolerance for other guests is expected. Criminal offences such as: consumption of illegal drugs, substance abuse, theft/stealing, vandalism/destruction of public property, gambling, fighting, and any other forms of criminal act or behavior not stated here, will be reported to the police.
