The Flying Fish is a haven of comfort, cleanliness, convenience, design, and the renowned Filipino hospitality all rolled into the doorstep while you jump off for your next adventure.
You can see it through the reclaimable scraps from the past, embedded on our architectural furnishings that we care about a sustainable environment. You can even taste it from our vegan and/or nutritious delectable food options right by our very own Nom Bar & Cantina restaurant that we care about our guests’ healthy choices. But most importantly, we care about fresh linens and the privacy which you all came for. Thus, all dorms have the standard amenities: private lockers, spacious clean & comfy beds––with a privacy curtain, outlets, and a private shelf & reading lamp on each. We also have more exclusive deluxe private rooms and family rooms to cover extra convenience for you and your pack; a personal bathroom; and a bigger space in case you need more “Me time.”

Property and Cancelation Policies :
Ifyou made your booking directly with Hostelworld, Hostelbookers or Agoda pleaseinform them about your booking. Your booking deposits are usually kept withthem. If  you made your booking directly with us, simply inform us on thenew dates of your stay at least 72 hours before your planned arrival. Your newbooking dates will be subject to availability. Any modifications made less than72 hours prior to arrival will be considered a cancellation and the firstnight will be charged.

If you cancel or modify your booking less than72 hours in advance, you will be charged a penalty fee of one night’s stay. If you have booked your stay through a separate website like Hostelworld,Hostelbookers or Agoda, your booking deposits will usually be forfeited by thewebsite. Please contact them directly for any clarification. If you booked yourstay directly on our website and have given us less than 24 hours notice, thepayment made is non refundable
Terms and Conditions

TheseTerms and Conditions (Conditions) set out the basis on which the Flying Fish(as defined below) will provide accommodation and other products and servicesat its hostel to Customers (as defined below) and Guests (as defined below). Bymaking a Booking (as defined below) the Customer agrees to comply with theseConditions. 

1. Interpretation
 
In these Terms and Conditions, unless thecontext otherwise requires, the following expressions have the followingmeanings: "Arrival Date" means the date on which the Customer’s stayat the hostel is due to commence, as per the Booking Details"Booking" means the reservation by the Customer of accommodation andany other products and services detailed in the Booking which is accepted bythe Flying Fish “Booking Details” means the details of the Booking includingthe number of Guests, the number of rooms required, the duration of the Guests’stay at the Hostel and any other products and/or services to be included in theBooking “Charges” means the charges payable by the Customer in connection withthe Booking “Contract” means the contract between the Customer and Generator inrelation to the Booking “Customer” means person who makes the Booking “FlyingFish” means SEA Ecopreneurs Inc. (registered company number CS201533860)“Guests” means the Customer and any third parties they invite to the Hostel inconnection with the Booking “Hostel” means the hostel owned or operated by theFlying Fish the location of which is specified in the Booking  

 2. Bookings  

 2.1 Customers can request Bookings via theFlying Fish’s website or by contacting the Flying Fish’s staff at theHostel. 

2.2 When requesting Bookings, Customers will berequired to provide identification information including, but not limited to,their name, address, contact telephone number and email address.
 
2.3 No request for a Booking should be deemed tobe accepted unless and until the Flying Fish confirms its acceptance andprovides a booking reference, at which point the Contract will come intoexistence.

 2.4 Subject to clause 4 the Flying Fishwill use its reasonable endeavors to accommodate any request from the Customerto change the Booking Details but any request to change the dates or length ofstay or add products and/or services will be subject to availability and theCustomer paying for such increased length of stay and/or products and/orservices at the Flying Fish’s standard rates from time to time.
 
2.5 When booking beds in a shared room, theFlying Fish will attempt to put people on the same booking in the same room,however this cannot be guaranteed 

3. Fees and payment  

 3.1 The Charges will be as quoted by theFlying Fish to the Customer upon the Customer’s request for a Booking.
 
3.2 Unless otherwise agreed by the Flying Fish,the Charges only cover the provision of accommodation at the Hostel and theCustomer may incur additional charges including, without limitation, chargesfor meals, room service and wireless internet access (the “AdditionalCharges”).
 
3.3 Customers will be informed of the amount ofthe Additional Charges before they are incurred.
 
3.4 Bookings will be subject to the Customer:making payment of the Charges in full in advance or, at the Flying Fish’soption, paying a booking fee and/or deposit; and providing valid Debit orCredit Card details via which payment of the Charges or the balance of theCharges(as the case may be) and any Additional Charges can be taken at check inat the hostel or at the time of booking.
 
3.5 If not prepaid in full at time of bookingthe balance of the Charges must be paid by the Customer immediately on checkingin at the Hostel. Any Additional Charges must be paid either as they areincurred or, at the Flying Fish’s option, upon the Customer checking out at theHostel.
 
3.6 The following payment methods are acceptedby the Flying FIsh 
3.6.1 Credit and Debit Cards
 3.6.2 Cash or Credit or Debit Cards, ifthe Customer is paying in person at the Hostel.      

 4. Cancellations   
4.1 Subject to clause 4.2, the Customer maycancel the Booking without charge if notice is given to the Flying Fish before24 hours prior 1300 hours (local time) on the Arrival Date in which case theFlying Fish will refund to the Customer all sums paid by the Customer inadvance, except for the booking or cancellation fee or charge

 4.2 Where the Customer has been offered adiscounted rate on condition that the Booking may not be cancelled then,provided the Customer has been informed of such Condition, then the Booking maynot be cancelled and the Charges applicable to that Booking are payable infull.

 4.3 Where the Customer fails to givesufficient notice of cancellation as per clause 4.1 or fails to arrive (noshow) at the Hostel, the Booking will be deemed cancelled and the Customer mustpay the Hostel an amount equivalent to the Charges applicable to the first’night’s stay at the Hostel. 

4.4 The Flying Fish may at any time cancel aBooking if the Hostel becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside theFlying Fish’s control in which case the Flying Fish will pay the Customer afull refund of any Charges and any booking fee paid. 

4.5 The Flying Fish may at any time cancel theBooking if the payment details provided by the Customer in accordance withclause 3.4.2 are invalid and the Customer fails to provide alternative validdetails.  


 5. Check in and Check out  

 5.1 Check-in time at the Hostel booked isat 1400 hrs. Check-in prior to 1100 hrs. may be available subject to priorarrangement with the Flying Fish and subject to the full range of services andfacilities at the Hostel not being available until the standard check in time.

 5.2 Check-out time at the Hostel booked is1100 hrs.. Later check-out times may be possible by prior arrangement with anadditional charge and subject to availability. (In the absence of such priorarrangement, failure to check-out by 1000 hrs may result in the Customer beingcharged for an additional night’s accommodation at the standard applicable rate       


 6. Hostel Rules  

 6.1 Valid photo identification in the formof a Driver License or Passport is required at check-in.

 6.2 Customers are required to conductthemselves and ensure that their Guests conduct themselves in a reasonable andresponsible manner at the Hostel and must not act in any way which may disturbother guests. Failure to adhere to this requirement may result in Guests beingasked to leave the Hostel in which event all Charges and Additional Chargesshall become immediately payable by the Guest.

 6.3 Smoking is not permitted inside theHostel and only in the designated smoking areas.

 6.4 The Customer will be responsible forany loss or damage caused at the Hostel by Guests or visitor of the Guest. TheGuest may be liable for the Flying Fish’s reasonable cost of repairing,cleaning or replacing any property of Generator which is damaged, soiled orlost by a Guest.

 6.5 No animals are allowed in theHostel. 

7. Food and Drink 
7.1 Unless otherwise agreed by the Flying Fish,the Charges do not include any food or drink. 

7.2 Customers and their Guests may only consumefood and drink purchased from the Flying Fish in the hostel. No externallypurchase food and drink may be consumed inside the Flying Fish.   


8. Disabled Guests  

8.1 The Flying Fishcomplies with all lawsregulating the treatment of, and provision for, disabled Guests. 

8.2 Customers with any special requirementspertaining to a disability should inform the management team at the Hostelprior to the Arrival Date.         


9. The Flying Fish’s liability
  

9.1 Nothing in these Conditions purports tolimit or exclude the Flying Fish’s liability for:
(a) death or personal injury caused by thenegligence of the Flying Fish its employees, subcontractors or agents; 
(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;or 
(c) any other matter for which it would beillegal for the Hostel to limit or exclude its liability. 

9.2 If the Flying Fish breaches these Conditionsor is negligent, it is responsible for the loss of damage suffered by theCustomer that is a foreseeable result of the breach of negligence but are notresponsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage isforeseeable if they were an obvious consequence of the Flying Fish’s breach ofthese Conditions or if they were contemplated by the Flying Fish and theCustomer when they entered into the Contract. 

9.3 The Customer agrees that the Flying Fish isonly supplying its facilities, products and services to the Customer forprivate use and have no liability to the Customer for any loss of profit, lossof business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity. 


10. Personal data
 

10.1 The Flying Fish’s treatment of Customersdata follows the Swedish Personal Data Act (1998: 204). 

10.2 The Customer herby consents the Flying Fishcollecting of the Customers personal data such as name, surname, email address,customer number, address, contact information and details of the bank accountnumber and IP number. 

10.3 The personal data is used by the FlyingFish for the performance of the Contract and for marketing and as a basis forstatistics and for the Flying Fish product development. 

10.4 The personal data may be analyzed andgrouped for the selection, prioritization and planning of the marketing ofGenerator, so-called profiling. 

11. Security deposit

11.1 A refundable security deposit of1000PHP will be collected upon check-in for the room key, towels and linens. Afull refund to the guest will be granted upon check out, if no loss or damageoccured to the above mentioned items and/or to the hostel premises.
