HOUSE RULES

•Late check-in:

If you are arriving after 7pm, please inform us at least two days in advance. We will arrange a self-check-in process for you. Please contact us and provide a valid email address so that we can send you the detailed self-check-in instructions.

 

•Third person occupancy:

Not every room can accommodate a third person because of the interior space.  Please inform us during the reservation, and we will suggest a suitable room type for you.  The fee for the third person is USD35 per night (prior notice is required.)  No fee for child under age 6 and under height 120cm (sleep in the same bed.)

 

•Business activities:

To maintain the quality and safety of accommodation for all guests, room reservations are for accommodation purposes only. Please refrain from hosting gatherings, business activities, or photoshoots in the rooms or common areas. If you have such needs for venue rental, please contact us for further discussion and pricing. 

 

•Environmental policy:

We are an eco-friendly certified hotel. We provide organic toiletries and towel sets from Taiwan's organic brands and do not provide disposable toiletries. Please bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush.

 

•Sound insulation:

As the building is a designated historical structure, the windows in the rooms are handmade wooden windows following traditional craftsmanship, which may not provide the same level of soundproofing as modern airtight windows. However, double-glazed windows are installed to enhance sound insulation. Therefore, we kindly ask our guests to lower the volume after 10pm.  Soft foam disposable earplugs are provided in the rooms. If you are sensitive to noise, please consider this before making a reservation.  

 

•No elevator:

This historical building doesn’t have elevator.  Please kindly consider personal condition before making reservation.

 

•No TV:

Our rooms don’t have TV.  But we have 70’s vinyl record player, records and books.  Let’s slow down and enjoy the leisurely life of Taipei.

 

•No smoking:

This whole building is a non-smoking area, including the patio and bathroom outside.  Thank you so much for maintaining our living environment.

•No pets:

We already have one cat stay in our place, so it’s not proper to have others. And people who allergic to cat please kindly consider personal condition before making reservation.

•Visitor hour:

Guests’ friends are welcome to come and enjoy our café area on the first floor.  Please inform us in advance if they want to visit the room and let us lead the way.  Visitors can stay until 7pm.
