Property and Cancelation Policies :
ALL cancellations up to one week before arrival incur a $60.00 processing/cancellation fee. (This means the 50% deposit made at booking is refundable minus the $60.00 processing/cancellation fee) Example: You made a 50% deposit of $149.00 so you will receive a refund of $89.00 back
FULL CHARGE OF STAY if reservation is canceled within one week of arrival. (this means the entirety of your 50% deposit made at booking plus the remaining 50% due upon arrival will be charged regardless of reason for cancelation)
Early Departure - There are no refunds for early departure. (this means if you stay at RBC for only two nights of a three-night reservation, you still pay for all three nights)
We strongly encourage all travelers to get travel insurance! We are a small business and must apply our cancellation policy equally and without exception (even for COVID, vehicle breakdowns, canceled flights, or other unexpected circumstances). There are no refunds for early departure.

Roosevelt Base Camp requires a 50% payment via credit card to complete your reservation. If a reservation is booked within one week or less before the arrival date, it is considered non-refundable.

Safety, Liability, and Indemnification
The registered guest(s) and their invitee(s) agree to use the property and the facilities of the Roosevelt Base Camp at their own risk. Roosevelt Base Camp will be held harmless in any event resulting in damage, loss to personal property, and any personal injury to the guest(s) or their invitee(s).
Check in and check out
We are a 100% contactless motel and do not have a front desk that is attended. However, we love meeting our guests and are happy to make time for you.
- Motel Check-in: Any time after 4 PM
- Motel Check out: Any time before 11 AM
Each motel room comes with ONE parking spot. Please, park in front of your room, and make sure you are parked straight so that others can park next to you. Additional vehicles will need to find off-site parking.
Quiet Hours
We ask that all our guests be respectful of and towards others at all hours of the day. Roosevelt Base Camp is NOT a party location; it is a place to rest, relax and enjoy the company of others.
Quiet hours are 9 pm - 9 am. This policy is enforced for the benefit of all our guests. If you behave in a way that disturbs another guest and continue to do so after being contacted, you may be asked to leave the property and no refund will be given.
Smoking Policy
No smoking or vaping in rooms! Please do not smoke on the porch or in the parking lot as many guests like to keep their windows open for that coastal breeze.
Alcohol and Cannabis Policy
Anyone partaking in alcohol or cannabis must be 21 and over – and follow all applicable local, state, and federal laws. There is no smoking or vaping of any kind allowed in our rooms.
Children and Teenagers
Parents, this one's for you. Please look after your children at all times.
Pets Policy and fees
We are a pet friendly property. There is a non refundable $50.00 pet fee per pet, per stay. So whether one night or three the pet fee is the same.
Dogs must be on a leash and under direct restraint at all times outside your room and/or on motel property. Dogs must be clean. Dogs are expected to be quiet, well behaved, and non-destructive. We ask that you please clean up after your pets on both motel property and the surrounding area.
Roosevelt Base Camp also reserves the right to ask you to leave the motel with your belongings immediately if we shall, in our sole opinion, deem that you have used the motel room in an irresponsible manner. If we deem that you have used the room in a manner that compromises the safety of the room or motel or causes damage to the room or motel property, or to any other guests or staff, there will not be any reimbursement or compensation.
