Hotel Policy/House Rules
We strive to provide our guests with an exceptionally clean, safe, and friendly experience. The following Hotel Policy/House Rules have been established based on industry standards, management and operational procedures. These Hotel Policy/House Rules are considered to be a part of our reservation agreement with you. As our hotel guest, by reading and signing your hotel registration you are agreeing to abide by all of our Hotel Policy/House Rules, terms and conditions, and procedures. These Hotel Policy/House Rules are presented here to help promote our guests’ safety and enjoyment and to ensure that each guest is aware of the understandings between Roosevelt Base Camp and the guest.
Smoking Policy
Roosevelt Base Camp is 100% smoke free. We do not permit smoking of any type in our motel rooms. This includes, but not limited to the smoking of tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, vaping cartridges containing nicotine, hookahs, incense, cigars, candle burning, diffusing oils or other strong smelling plant-based essential oils, any other products. Due to the nature of these materials, it is difficult to remove these odors from the air, carpet, walls and furniture. The cleaning fee for smoking in any room on our property is $300.00 per person. These items and activities will be treated as smoking, a fine will be assessed, and guest may be evicted with no refund. We reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Motel property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fees, cleaning fees, etc.
Pet Policy
We are a pet friendly establishment. There is a $50 non-refundable pet fee and a $50 non-refundable additional pet fee. Dogs must NEVER be left unattended in the room or in your personal vehicle at any time while on motel property, whether the dog is kennel crated or not. Dogs must be on a leash and under direct restraint at all times outside your room and/or on motel property. Dogs must be clean Dogs are expected to be quiet, well behaved, and non-destructive. Guests with pets will be given an opportunity to eliminate any noise complaints. In the event you are unable to satisfy this clause, you may be asked to leave the motel without a refund and will be financially responsible for any and all costs associated with the complaint. We ask that you please clean up after your pets on both motel property and the surrounding area. We understand that accidents are sometimes unavoidable. If an accident should occur, please call or come to the Office immediately so that we may try to prevent any permanent damage. Roosevelt Base Camp is not responsible for dogs that may exit guest rooms, including but not limited to any escape as a result of motel staff entry or exit of the guest room.
Parking
All vehicle(s) must be listed on the registration at check-in. All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner; there is ample parking for vehicles as well as adjacent parking for trucks with trailers. Roosevelt Base Camp shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the motel property.
Arrival, Check In Time
We welcome you to check in anytime after 4:00 pm - if you would like an earlier check in please contact us we do our best to accommodate our guests special request based on availability.
Check In Requirements:
Guests must be at least 18 years of age to check in at Roosevelt Base Camp. In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, guests are required to confirm their identity by providing their valid government issued photo identification (State driver’s license, passport, etc.) at check-in.
Check Out Time
Check out time is 11:00 am. Please call or come to the office to let us know if your check out times need to be adjusted. If you fail to notify the front desk that your check out time may be delayed, you will be charged for another nights stay.
Departure:
Please checkout with Front Desk so that housekeeping may begin cleaning your room as soon as possible.
Maximum Occupancy
Is listed on the room type you have selected to reserve. Please contact us if you have special requests, again we do try to accommodate our guests whenever it is possible.
Room Keys
Room keys are issued to the registered guest(s). Please return room keys to Front Desk at Checkout. If the room key is not returned, a fee of $70.00 will incur for replacement.
Additional Cleaning Fee
$100.00- $300.00 Excessive Dirty room or Damage Fee (due to occupants, guests or pets) chargeable to renter, at time of checkout. You authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the motel property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fees, cleaning fees, etc. We will make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialist to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
Wi-Fi Access
At Roosevelt Base Camp Wi-Fi is limited, we are remotely located. We do not have Wi-Fi signals like big cities. Our signals are subject to change without notice depending on the room’s location, weather, the status of our Wi-Fi-equipment, and interference from other local wireless signals.
Damage Discovered After Check Out
Rooms found with waste strewn around, in complete disorder, and/or “trashed” will be subject to a cleaning fee. Damage to room, fixtures, furnishing and equipment including the removal of electronic equipment (if applicable), towels, artwork, etc. will be charged a fee for replacement and labor. Any damage to motel property, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued. Damage to mattresses and linen including; towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads, blankets resulting from the use of body oils, make-up, shoe-polish, etc. will result in a charge for the special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article.
Terms & Conditions
Roosevelt Base Camp makes its best efforts to ensure that all the information that appears on its website is accurate. However, no warranty, expressed or implied, is given that the information provided on this website is error free. Roosevelt Base Camp does not accept liability for any errors and/or omissions and reserves the right to change the information published at any time and without notice.
Cancelation PolicyFull Charge - Full Deposit - If cancelled within 3 days of arrival
Otherwise full refund of deposit minus $60.00 processing fee.
Roosevelt Base Camp also reserves the right to ask you to leave the motel with your belongings immediately if we shall, in our sole opinion, deem that you have used the motel room in an irresponsible manner. If we deem that you have used the room in a manner that compromises the safety of the room or motel or causes damage to the room or motel property, or to any other guests or staff, there will not be any reimbursement or compensation.
