The same team that renovated and run Lake Wentworth Inn in Wolfeboro will bring their same level of expertise to revitalize the Matterhorn which has been closed for several years. Traditional reservation: If you must cancel your reservation, please do so fourteen (14) days prior to arrival for a full refund. Deposits are fully refundable up to fourteen (14) days prior to arrival. Reservations cancelled within fourteen (14) days of arrival, advanced deposit may be used for a future stay.
Extended-stay reservation (weekly/monthly/seasonal): If you must cancel your reservation, please do so thirty (30) days prior to arrival for a full refund. If you cancel your reservation within thirty (30) days of arrival, advanced deposit will be forfeited.
Due to covid guidelines, room refreshes are not offered during your stay. Please contact us at 603-569-1700 with any questions.

Reservations: Rates are per room and per night. Rates are subject to 8.5% New Hampshire rooms and meals tax.
Queen rooms have a maximum occupancy of 2. Full rooms have a maximum occupancy of 4.
Minimum stays will apply to some weekend, holiday, and high demand periods. All rates are subject to change.
Reservations will be guaranteed and confirmed in writing upon receipt of a deposit of one night’s room and tax or 50% of the stay, whichever is greater.
Please be advised that your credit card charge will appear as: 4 Loons Properties, LLC on your statement.
Dog friendly rooms: All dogs must be pre-registered to guarantee that you are in the proper accommodation. $20 per day per dog fee, with a maximum of 1
Late check outs are permitted on the day of departure only if your unit is not reserved to another guest. 3:00 PM check out $25 fee.

Parking: Parking is free and limited to two vehicles per room. No RVs or campers are permitted on site. Boat trailer parking is available for a $25 fee.
Green Policy: The Moultonborough Inn is committed to minimizing our impact on the environment.
- Room Keys Contemporary plastic keys are made from PVC plastic which is part of a highly toxic manufacturing process. The Inn has installed electronic locks on all our rooms.
- Bath Amenities Individual disposable soap, shampoo and conditioner is provided.
- Energy Management Guest room heating/air conditioners are pre-set to the most energy efficient temperature.
- Housekeeping: Due to on-going guidelines, we are no longer providing room refreshes during your stay for customer and staff safety.
- Towels: Please help us protect the environment and conserve water by reusing your towel whenever possible. Clean towels are available by exchange/request from the Front Desk if needed.
- Dog fee: A daily dog fee of $20.00 per night. Additional fees may apply if damage is found in the room upon check out. No more than 1 dog is allowed per guest room.
- Responsibility of dog behavior: the Inn requires a cell phone number of each dog owner so we can contact you if needed. Guest must take the personal responsibility for the behavior of their dogs during their stay. If a noisy dog disturbs other guests and the Inn must offer concessions due to your noisy dog, you will be responsible for the full amount of the concession.
- Housekeeping and dogs: If a dog is unattended in the room, our housekeepers will not enter.
- Cleaning up after your dog: When they poop, please scoop! If you need additional bags, please ask!
- Service Dogs: Service animals trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability are not subject to the dog fee. However, the owner may be liable if the animal causes any damage. Service animal ID is required to waive the fee.
Force Majeure: Should events beyond the control of the hotel or group, such as acts of God, war, curtailment or interruption of transportation facilities, threats or acts of terrorism or similar acts, State Department travel advisory, civil disturbance, or any other emergency beyond the parties control, make it inadvisable, illegal or impossible for either party to perform their obligations under the agreement, such party may cancel the agreement without liability upon written notice to the other party.
Zombie Apocalypse: Should this occur, lock your guest room and prepare to defend yourself against the teeming horde of zombies. Use any guest room items necessary to protect yourself. No damage fees are likely to be assessed.
