The North Hero House is an historic, beautifully restored country inn with a modern flair. Nestled in the heart of a charming well-preserved 19th century village on Lake Champlain, the Inn has been welcoming guests since 1891 when they arrived by paddle wheel steamer.
The North Hero House owners, Doug Nedde and Heidi Tappan, are lifetime residents of Vermont and Heidi's family has been established in North Hero since the 1800's. They are thrilled to be able to preserve the Inn's legacy of continuously hosting guests since 1891.
The Inn’s wide range of amenities include 26 newly renovated romantic rooms, two acclaimed restaurants, two full bars, beautiful event sites, a sandy beach, a marina, a mini spa and a caring staff. The Inn is a wonderful getaway for couples, families, destination weddings, business meetings and private parties.

All room rates are based on double occupancy - additional persons in guest room are subject to a $15 per night charge.
All rates are quoted in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.
Pets are allowed in specific rooms for an additional $40 nightly fee.

Any guest found smoking will be required to pay a minimum of 1 night's penalty along with a $250 deep cleaning fee.
