Landers House is a quaint Boutique Hotel with private cottages located in the heart of downtown Utica IL, and just minutes away from breathtaking Starved Rock and Mattiesen State Parks. We have 4 beautifully decorated cottages with 2 person jacuzzi bathtubs as well as a jacuzzi suite, all with fireplaces. We are a pet friendly hotel that has a designated cottage for couples traveling with their four legged furry friends.

Self Check in times are anytime after 2pm.
Check out is 11am.
A valid credit card is required when reservation is made and will be charged the full amount of your total amount at time the reservation. If you need to cancel your reservation no charges will incur if cancelled 7 days or more prior to your arrival date. If you cancel within those 7 days prior to your arrival date you will be charged the full amount.
If you need to cancel your reservation during special events (Eagle Watching weekend/Winter Wine Walk/Burgoo) , you must do so 30 days or more prior to your arrival date to receive a full refund. We are not able to reschedule reservation dates. During our peak season April to October we do require a 2 night stay on weekends. During our non peak season November to March a 2 night stay is not required(excluding Eagle Watch Weekend, Winter Wine Walk and New Year's Eve)
The cottage/cabins as well as the suite and standard rooms are all non-smoking rooms. An additional $200 cleaning fee will be added if you violate this policy.
We are not responsible for personal items left behind. If something is left behind we will hold it for 30 days and will gladly ship it back to you for a $30 fee.
You must be over the age of 21 to rent a room or cottage.
You are responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property belonging to Landers House.
Pet Policy
The Caribou Cottage is our only pet friendly cottage and no exceptions will be made allowing a dog in any other cottage, suite or standard room.
An additional $50 pet fee is required
Your dog must be up to date on all vaccinations and be on a leash at all times.
If you plan on leaving your dog unattended in the cottage at any time please bring along a travel crate.
You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog and any damage done to property.
Dogs are not allowed on any of the furniture or beds.
If for any reason we need to shampoo carpets or furniture due to pet "markings" You will be charged an additional $50 cleaning fee.
There is a 2 dog limit no exceptions.
