Terms and Conditions
Reservations are held with a credit card at the time of booking. The remaining balance is charged 14 days prior to your arrival. Cancellations made within 14 days are non-refundable. Credit cards will be authorized the day of check-in for incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until the day of your departure, at which time the amount actually incurred during your stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take 7 days to be released by your bank and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges. A credit card is the only accepted form of payment.
Please note once within the 14 day time frame, there are no refunds for weather, illness, Covid or any other reason.
Minimum Stay Requirements
Reservations require a two to three night minimum, depending on the time of year. If availability allows, a one night stay may be arranged directly.

General PoliciesSecurity Surveillance
For guest safety and security, Lokal has 24/7 monitored audio and visual security surveillance in the common areas.
Lokal is a 2-story walkup, and features two handicap accessible units.
The pool area is heated and available to access 9 AM to 9 PM. The pool is open April through December (or as weather permits). There is no lifeguard. Guests swim at their own risk and the Hotel will not be responsible for any injuries while using the Hotel facilities. Only current Lokal guests are allowed in the pool area.
Luggage can be stored in the lobby. Lokal is not liable for any missing or damaged items.
A maximum of 2 overnight guests per 1-bedroom suite, and 5 overnight guests per 2-bedroom suite.
No Party Policy
Lokal Hotel enforces a strict No Party Policy for the comfort and security of all hotel guests. Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time. A warning will be issued, should guest violate this policy. A second violation will result in immediate eviction from the hotel without refund.
Lokal is a 100% smoke-free facility and does not permit smoking of any kind. Any evidence of smoking in the guest’s room or complaints made by other guests will result in a $1,000 fee. This includes smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, diffusers, hookahs, incense, cigars and candle burning.
Lokal Hotel is a pet-free environment. This includes cats, dogs, and emotional support animals. If an ADA-certified service animal is required, it must not be left alone on the premises at any time. In addition, animals are not permitted in the pool area, keep off of furniture, bark at or disturb other guests. A $1000 fee will be charged if violated. Dogs are not allowed on the Washington Mall or on the beaches in Cape May from April through October.
Commercial photography and filming are prohibited on property without prior approval from Hotel Management. A $1000 fee will be charged if violated.
Lokal provides onsite parking for hotel guests. Parking spaces are assigned by room number and can accommodate one car per reservation. If you need ADA accommodations, please let hotel know prior to your arrival.
Furniture and Room Furnishings
All furniture, furnishings and kitchenware must be returned to its original placement prior to checking out. Violations will result in an additional fee.
Damage, Missing Items & Excessive Cleaning
Upon booking we require a credit card on hold for any damages and excessive cleanings beyond normal use of our amenities incurred during the guest's stay. The guest authorizes Lokal to charge the cost of repair of such damage or loss of such items caused by themselves, or any person for whom they are responsible. Such damage would include the cost of cleaning bedding and upholstery, and fumigation if the guest smokes in a room, and/or damage to furniture, rugs, walls and fixtures as well as replacing missing items such as bedding, towels, furnishings, kitchenware, etc.
