Terms and Conditions

Guest House is a quiet, intimate hotel in a neighborhood setting. To nurture the cozy environment, we request that you respect these (strict) rules:

  • No children under the age of 18, including babies.
  • We use electronic key pads for property and guest room access. It is out goal to greet each guest, but the individual key codes allow for self check-in after hours and guest peace of mind not having to worry about loosing a key. 
  • We love pets, however, we are not a pet-friendly hotel. This includes service/emotional support dogs.
  • Quiet hours (indoors and outdoors) begin at 10pm. Please respect your fellow guests and our neighbors.
  • Maximum occupancy is 2 guests per room.
  • Guest House is strictly a smoke-free, vape-free, drug-free property, indoors and outdoors. A $500 fee will be charged for violations.
  • Guests must be 21 or older to book and a valid ID and credit card are required for booking.
  • Commercial photography, production shoots, and filming are not allowed on the property without prior written consent and an additional fee. Permits may also be required.  
  • In Person check-in is 3-6pm. Self check-in is available 6-11pm. Check-out is 11 am. Late check-outs are subject to a $25/hr fee.
  • Due to the historical setting of Guest House, please contact us directly to inquire about our ADA-friendly accommodations and services.
Group Bookings
  • Bookings of 4 or more rooms are subject to our Group Booking Terms & Conditions and must be approved by management. Please email welcome@guesthouseraleigh.com or call 919-533-3052 to inquire about availability of group bookings.
  • No bachelor/bachelorette parties are allowed
Deposit Policy
  • All reservations require a deposit of the first night rate (plus tax) to guarantee booking.
  • This deposit is refundable if cancelled/modified before 14 days of check-in.
Cancellations
  • Cancellations within 7-14 days (day + time EST) of check-in receive full refund minus deposit + tax. No-shows or early departures will be charged the entire reserved stay (room + tax).
  • Cancellations within 7 days will be charged for the total price of the reservation plus taxes. 
  • All cancellations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee.
  • We highly recommend travel insurance to cover your hotel stay in case of emergencies or other unexpected interruptions. We are a small business, thank you for being understanding.
Damages
  • Guests are responsible for all damage to the room, other than the ‘normal wear and tear’, which occurs during the term of their occupancy. 
  • Guests authorizes the innkeeper to charge the cost to repair such damage to the guest credit card - including but not limited to cleaning, fixing or replacing, upholstery, furniture, rugs, floors, walls, fixtures, and destroyed or excessively soiled towels, linens and other soft goods
