Property and Cancelation Policies :
- If the guest cancels more than 60 days in advance, the total amount of the reservation will be refunded.
- If the guest cancels less than 60 days in advance, then 30% of prepayment is non-refundable.
- In case of a “no-show”, the total price of the reservation will be charged and is non- refundable.
- There is only one way in which we can acknowledge cancellation of the guest’s reservation; the guest MUST send a cancellation request via email to the following address: mail@alaskacc.edu
- All cancellations are confirmed via email immediately after the reservation has been cancelled.
Terms and Conditions
Drugs & Alcohol: Alaska Christian College is a drug & alcohol free campus, which means that all forms of drugs without a doctor’s prescription (including prescription and nonprescription marijuana) and alcohol are prohibited on ACC property. All Alaska Christian College employees, students, visitors, guests, and contractors are required to comply with this policy which shall remain in force at all times.
Tobacco & Vaping: Tobacco (smoking and non-smoking) and Vaping are only allowed at designated locations on the ACC property. Tobacco includes but is not limited to: lighted cigarettes, cigars, pipes, hookah, bidi, clove cigarettes, e-cigarettes, snuff, iqmik, and chewing tobacco. All Alaska Christian College employees, students, visitors, guests, and contractors are required to comply with this policy which shall remain in force at all times. The use of Tobacco and Vaping is strictly prohibited indoors.
Damages: Guests and clients are responsible for ensuring that all premises used by participants are returned to their original condition upon vacating the premises, reasonable wear and tear excepted. Any repairs needed for damage done to the premises by Event Representative or its guests shall be payable to ACC (including any and all bed linen, towels and blankets in the housing units that are missing or destroyed). The determination of the amount of such loss or damage shall be made by ACC at its sole reasonable discretion.
Limited Facility Use: Guests, clients and event participants may only use those facilities and services covered within the scope of this agreement. No one group is guaranteed exclusive use of the facilities at any given time and can expect to share the facilities with other groups.
Pets: Pets are allowed on campus as long as they remain in a vehicle or are leashed while outside of a vehicle. Pets may not be tied up on campus. Owners are required to pick up after their pets. Pets that bark excessively, are not under control, and that pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others will not be allowed on campus. Pets are not allowed inside any ACC building.
Minor Supervision: Adult on-site supervision is required for any youth or school groups up to 18 years old. The supervisors will act as liaisons with ACC staff in the event of disciplinary issues, noise or disruptive behavior. The ration of adults to youths should not exceed 1:20 unless prior arrangements are made with ACC staff. All groups using ACC housing that are comprised of predominantly youths up to 18 years old must provide a Certificate of Insurance.
Right of Entry: ACC reserves the right to enter any facility to inspect the premises for purposes of safety, health, cleaning, maintenance and proof of occupancy.
ACC Liability: ACC assumes no responsibility for any property or possessions of the client, participants or guests which are lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed while on campus at any time, except if such loss is caused by ACC’s gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
Agreement to Hold Harmless: The Event Representative shall hold harmless, defend and indemnify ACC, its agents, and employees against any and all claims, suits, proceedings, or actions- including damages, costs, attorney fees, recoveries and other expenses which may be made, taken or incurred at any time during the specific periods within this agreement against ACC and the operation and conduct of the activity. The Event Representative shall without delay, notify ACC of any and all accidents, losses, damages or claims which arise in connection with this agreement, howsoever caused.
Violation of Agreement: In the event the Event Representative or participants default in the performance of any item of the terms or conditions of this Agreement, Alaska Christian College may elect to serve written notice to vacate the premises immediately. No refund will be given. Alaska Christian College reserves the right to revoke the Agreement for any violation of Alaska Christian College policy and procedures, local, state, or federal laws; this list is not exclusive: Knowingly possessing non-prescription drugs, including marijuana. Possession of firearms, weapons, ammunition, fireworks, or explosive materials while on campus. Misuse, abuse, theft, or destruction of Alaska Christian College property. Irresponsible behavior dangerous to persons or property. Any violations of Alaska Christian College policies and procedures or violations of local, state, or federal law. Failure to maintain proper supervision of minors as required.
Right to Refuse Service: Alaska Christian College is an affiliated corporation of the Alaska Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ACECC) and expressly claims any and all religious exemptions available to the ACECC under any local, state, or federal law. Alaska Christian College is bound to uphold the policies and beliefs of the ACECC and requires that all individuals and groups who rent the facility reflect the mission, vision, and values of Alaska Christian College and the ACECC (this includes but is not limited to persons or groups holding, advancing, or advocating beliefs or practices that conflict with religious teachings as reflected in the Bible and Alaska Christian College’s Covenant Affirmations, including its Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality). Alaska Christian College expressly reserves the right to refuse to rent out its facilities for any reason.
If you are already staying with us and you would like to stay longer, please let us know at least 24 hours before your check- out date. We will do our best to accommodate your new plans and this can include relocating you to a similar apartment should this be necessary.
