Property Information

Located in one of Gibraltar’s most sought after areas, West One offers breathtaking views, first class location and a striking choice of fully furnished apartments to its guests. This luxurious accommodation features a swimming pool (open from June to Mid Oct) with views of the Rock. 

Free WiFi is featured in each private apartment, as well as a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.  Every apartment also has a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, stovetop, refrigerator, toaster and kettle. Each unit comes with a clothes washing machine. There is a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. All apartments have air-conditioning. Luxury towels and bed linens are provided. Some units also feature a private terrace or balcony with views.

The accommodation is self catered, however West One itself is home to a variety of restaurants and cafe’s which cater to every taste, and the closest supermarket is only 350m away.

West One  is a great choice for travellers interested in convenient public transport, culture and history. The vibrant town centre is just a 10 minute walk. Gibraltar’s airport is 7 minutes’ car journey.

Property and Cancelation Policies :

1. ROOM CHARGES

For all reservations, we take full pre-payment for the room 2 weeks prior to check-in. Cancellations made 24 hours prior to check will receive a full refund to your original form of payment. Refunds will be initiated within 24 hours (1 business day), unless that request is received in the afternoon on a Friday or holiday. Please keep in mind that although the refund has been initiated by our office as outlined, your card issuer has control over when the refunded amount may be applied as a credit to your card balance.

2. STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY
The cancellation policy varies according to the rate and dates that are booked.  Please refer to the individual full rate descriptions given at booking and provided on your reservation confirmation. The standard cancellation policy allows modifications and cancellation without penalty 24 hours, prior to your scheduled arrival subject to written notification. There is a penalty equivalent to 100% of the total reservation fee if a reservation is cancelled within 24 hours of arrival.  For reservations made for stays within 24 hours from the booking a penalty equivalent to 100% of the total reservation fee will be automatically applied for any cancellations.  In case of no show, the total price of reservation will be charged.  We recommend and expect that guest will have or will take out a holiday insurance policy (which includes cancellation insurance covering sickness and unavoidable reasons for cancellation) prior to their stay.

3.  MODIFYING YOUR RESERVATION
Please note that a change in the length or dates of your reservation may result in a rate change. 

4. THIRD PARTY BOOKING SOURCES
If you made your booking with a third party website we recommend you contact the source directly, as our reservations team are not permitted to cancel, amend or change third party Website Bookings.

5. EXCHANGE RATES
All payments due to The W1 Complex is in Pounds Sterling unless otherwise stated and any rebates due to the client will be reimbursed by The W1 Complex in Pounds Sterling.  The W1 Complex is not responsible for any exchange rate charges incurred by the guest if payment was made in a currency other than Pounds Sterling and The W1 Complex will not be responsible for any exchange rate or bank charges incurred by the guest in relation to any rebate made to them by The W1 Complex.

6. THE W1 COMPLEX CANCELLATION POLICY
We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error. It is possible that, from time to time, for reasons of force majeure (for example the building being closed due to a hurricane) a booking will be cancelled or amended. Should such events occur, we will make all reasonable efforts to notify the customer of this as soon as possible and where possible will offer alternative accommodation. If the Customer does not take this offer, we will ensure that all monies paid in respect of the booking are refunded.
Terms and Conditions

1. CHILDREN
Baby cribs are available upon request and subject to availability, these are charged at £25 per reservation. Individuals above the age of 12 are considered as adults for the purposes of room occupancy by the W1 Complex. 

The supervision of children, babies and any adults requiring care remains the responsibility of the guest at all times.

2. EXTRA BEDDING
In our one bedroom apartments, a sofa bed is available for additional guests (standard rates are based on 2 people sharing only), charged at an additional £15 per night per guest. The charge will automatically be included upon selection of more than 2 adults during reservation. 

3. ROOM OCCUPANCY
The W1 Complex allows guests to occupy the apartments for holiday purposes only.  Guests must declare the correct number of additional guests during the booking and, if this changes, must inform The W1 Complex before the rental commence of any change. Extra charges may apply if the number of guests differs from the number stated on the booking.

Please also note that the W1 Complex reserves the right to refuse entry to any additional guest exceeding the maximum occupancy allowed for that room type.  The total number of occupants in a room, including children, shall not exceed the maximum number of occupants permitted for the respective room types: 
Studio A: 2 guests
Studio B: 2 guests
One Bedroom: 4 guests (2 adults and 2 children)

4. CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT POLICIES:

4.1 AGE REQUIREMENT
Guests must be 18 years or older to check-in. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The W1 Complex reserves the right to check photo identification.  

4.2 CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Unless otherwise stated in the specific rate plan terms & conditions, check-in time is after 2.30p.m. and check-out time is 11am.

4.3 ACCESS
Guests must allow reasonable access (upon prior notice) to the property by The W1 Complex for the purposes of carrying out maintenance and at all times in the case of emergency. 

5. GENERAL POLICIES 

5.1 DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY
Guests agree to inform The W1 Complex of any damage or loss however caused, excluding reasonable wear and tear incurred during occupation.  Guests should not remove any item from the property. Guests should put all furniture and other items back to where they were at the beginning of the rental period. Guests should not leave any personal items at the property and, if left, The W1 Complex has the right to charge for the removal, return or disposal of those items. The W1 Complex further reserves the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage or soiling, caused by accidental, deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the Complex’s property or structure. 

5.2 LIABILITY
The W1 Complex shall not be liable for any loss, damage, additional expense or inconvenience directly or indirectly caused by or arising out of the property. No responsibility is accepted for loss or damage to property, vehicles or vehicles contents belonging to guests during their occupancy. The W1 Complex shall not be liable for the loss of money or other personal valuables during your stay.

5.3 PARKING

5.4 PETS
The W1 Complex maintains a strict no-pets policy on its premises except for guide dogs.  Guide dogs must be booked in by the guest at the time of booking.  If damage or extra cleaning is caused by guide dogs the guest may be billed for that charge.

5.5 PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items are not permitted in the W1 Complex premises:
•   Animals of any kind, except guide dogs
•   Flammable, explosive or otherwise hazardous materials 
•   Objects emitting a foul odour
•   Firearms or other weapons 
•   Objects of an unusually large size or in unusually large quantities
•   Articles related to use in gambling, prostitution, smuggling or other illicit acts
•   Illegal drugs or other articles, the possession of which is prohibited by the laws of Gibraltar 

The W1 Complex reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest found to be in possession of prohibited items. Guests shall be solely liable and responsible for all loss financial or otherwise, and damage that may be caused by such items. Guests agree to comply with such reasonable rules and regulations which The W1 Complex may impose in relation to the use and enjoyment of the property from time to time.

5.6 EXCESSIVE NOISE AND PARTIES
To ensure all guests enjoy the comfort and safety of the facilities we offer, the W1 Complex upholds a strict zero tolerance policy towards commotion, excessive noise and parties. Any person found to be on our premises creating excessive noise, having a party, exceeding the numbers of permitted guests or otherwise causing a disturbance will be requested to leave the W1 Complex without refund.

5.7  INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR
Should any action by a guest, may it be towards our staff or otherwise, be deemed inappropriate by the W1 Complex or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to attention, the W1 Complex reserves the right, after the allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest which may result in, but not limited to, being asked to leave without a refund for any services incurred.

5.8 SMOKING
The W1 Complex is non smoking accommodation. There will be a £100 fee for thorough cleaning services charged to any room that has been smoked in to restore it back to its original condition.
