**1. Cancellations with fifteen (15) days or more in advance**
Cancellations made with fifteen (15) days or more in advance of the arrival date will entitle the guest to a full refund, with a 10% retention of the TOTAL reservation amount for processing fees. As an alternative, guests will have the option to reschedule their stay at no additional charge, being able to select a new check-in date within a period of 6 months from the original arrival date. All rescheduling is subject to availability and may be subject to rate adjustments.
**2. Cancellations with fourteen (14) days or less in advance**
In the event of cancellation within fourteen (14) days or less before the check-in date, no refund will be issued, and it will not be possible to change the reservation dates or reschedule the stay.
**3. Force Majeure Cancellations**
Cancellations due to force majeure will be considered when made within the fifteen days prior to the reservation, resulting from a natural disaster, pandemics, or other national emergency factors that prevent the enjoyment of the reservation on the indicated dates. In this case, the guest will have the option to reschedule their trip within a period of 6 months from the original arrival date.
There will be no exceptions to the Cancellation Policy.
**1. Reservation Deposit Policy**
To secure your reservation, a deposit amounting to 50% of the total cost of your stay is required. This deposit ensures the availability of your accommodation for the selected dates.
**2. No Smoking and Alcohol Consumption Policy**
At Pacha Ecolodge, we value the health and well-being of all our guests; therefore, smoking inside the cabins or rooms without is strictly prohibited. The consumption of alcoholic beverages inside the cabins or rooms is not permitted unless prior notice is given. By confirming your reservation, you assume financial responsibility for any additional charges that may incur due to non-compliance with this policy.
**3. Alcoholic Beverages and Corkage Fee Policy**
We understand that some guests wish to enjoy selected beverages like wines and sparkling wines during their stay. The entry of these beverages is permitted with a corkage fee of $20 per bottle. However, the entrance of strong alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
**4. Bedding and Furniture Policy**
We are committed to providing a clean and pristine environment for your stay. As such, any damage or stains found on bedding, curtains, or furniture, including walls, may result in additional charges. By booking with our establishment, you accept this condition.
**5. Right of Admission**
Pacha Ecolodge reserves the right to refuse service or entry, without a refund, to any person posing a potential risk to the safety or welfare of the accommodation, other guests, or our staff, or to those under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or who display disrespectful or suspicious behavior.
**6. Responsibility for Minors**
Parents or legal guardians staying with minors assume full responsibility for supervising, maintaining order, and controlling the behavior of the minors during their stay, releasing Pacha Ecolodge from any liability arising from their care and conduct.
**7. Assumption of Risk in Activities**
By participating in tours and programs offered by Pacha Ecolodge or Kayak Ecuador, guests acknowledge and voluntarily accept all risks associated with such outdoor activities. They understand that they may be exposed to personal injury, loss of life, or property damage and agree that they will not be able to make claims, sue, or expect financial compensation from Pacha/Kayak Ecuador for such occurrences.
**8. Policy for Changes in Tours and Programs**
We reserve the right to alter or cancel any scheduled tour or program without prior notice in response to adverse weather conditions, unforeseen events, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, every effort will be made to reschedule the service, but a full refund is not guaranteed.
**9. Guest Conduct**
We expect all guests to maintain respectful and considerate behavior toward others, including staff, guides, instructors, and fellow guests during their stay. Any act of vandalism, excessive noise, or disturbance of the peace may result in immediate termination of the stay and, if necessary, intervention by competent authorities.
**10. Care of Personal Property**
At Pacha Ecolodge, we value the safety and peace of mind of our guests. Although we always strive for a secure environment, we recommend keeping valuables in a safe place and not leaving them unattended. The hotel staff is available to provide assistance in case of any concerns regarding your belongings. Please be aware that responsibility for the safety of personal property lies with each guest.
**11. Final Considerations**
Guests, by accepting these terms and conditions, acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with all the policies presented herein.
