WELCOME to YELLOWSTONE
Welcome to The CORRAL VILLAS!
We hope that you have a lovely time in our brand new units at this beautiful part of Montana. We consider Gardiner our home and are happy to share our property with guests like you.We purchased the original old house in October 2018 and we refurnished it shortly thereafter and use for employee housing. In 2020 we started Phase 1 of Corral Lodging, building this beautiful building that we called Corral Villas. It includes 6 units all with full kitchens and their own baths. Each unit is a specious space, bigger than most hotel rooms including a comfortable queen bed, extra queen sleeper sofa/couch, Smart TV ( Netflix, Hulu, Prime TV and such require your own account) with Vizio free channels and DISH cable channels, electric fireplace in the winter, full kitchen with all the cooking amenities and utensils that you might need, fridge, coffee machine, hot water cattle, toaster, microwave, complimentary coffee. Comfortably fits up to 4 people- 2 adults and 2 small kids.
Phase 2 will start in 2025 and it will future a second building including first floor for employee housing and a second floor Mountain View Apartments for guests, as well as an office for the lodging, guest laundry and soda/snack machines. We love the amazing and quite neighborhood and that our villas are walking distance to our restaurant and everything else that you might need- a bank, a grocery store, post office and such. Elk and deer are often visitors on the the property. We thank you for taking good care of the unit while you are staying in it.This Welcome Book includes important information about the property, Gardiner and Yellowstone, a list of our favorite restaurants and things to do.
Please, enjoy your vacation!
Respectfully, Dimitar & Neli Nikolov

The YELLOWSTONE Guide
Please use this Yellowstone Guide to plan an amazing vacation. It contains our favorite restaurants in Gardiner and things to do. Some of these activities could be dangerous and should be done with caution. Enjoy at your own risk.
MUST DO
- Gardiner’s Visitor Center is located on Park Street just before you enter the gate. The good people there will answer all questions that you still might have even after reading this.
- Rafting- Whitewater rafting id available in Gardiner in the summer May-September. Brochures of some local raft companies are available.
- Ziplining. Montana White Water is the only co that offers zip lining in Gardiner.
- Hiking in and around Yellowstone. Our favorite trail is Beavers Ponds that starts in Mammoth. It’s an easy few miles of walking around beautiful ponds. It was our first hike here in Yellowstone. Always carry a bear spray when you hike. Hike in groups. Make noise. Don’t cut corners. We provide bear spray for your convenience. Bear spray is not a toy. Use with caution. For more info about hiking trails and safety information please stop by Yellowstone Association ( the last building in Gardiner before the gate to Yellowstone)or consult with a park ranger.
- Yellowstone Hot Springs is a few minutes from here to the north. It is a beautiful way to finish a day full of hiking or just exploring Yellowstone. Call ahead to check their hours as they change during the year. Open year around.
- Wildlife seeing. Take the Old Yellowstone road that starts at the school and finish at Corwin Springs, then turn right on the bridge and right on the highway to come back to Gardiner. You can see tons of animals ( antelopes and mountain sheep, elk and deer) and birds year around.
- Looking for a private guide. We highly recommend Mike Skelton with Yellowstone Wonders. You can reach him at 406-224-3561 and use a discount code CORRAL GUEST to book a tour.
- WINTER Snowcoaches are available from Mammoth, WY to Old Faithful. Mammoth is 20 minutes from our Guesthouse. Visit YellowstoneNationalParkLodges.com for more information. Reservations are needed.
- Mammoth Hot Springs you can see year around. Stopping by and taking a loop through the Lower and Upper Terrasses will make the most beautiful photos and once in a lifetime sunset.
- The road to Cooke City through Lammar Valley is open for vehicles year around. It is an easy loop for observing Bison, Elk, Wolves, Foxes and different species of wildlife animals in their natural habitat.
- Grand Canyon and Waterfalls
- Old Faithful.
- Yellowstone Lake is our favorite part of the park. A self guided boat tour is $68 for an hour and it is an amazing. I even took my 3 year old this summer and he loved it.
- Grand Prismatic is another favorite of ours. A MUST STOP on both location the oversee hike to the top and terasses as well.
- And so much more to see and do in Yellowstone. Visitor’s Center and Yellowstone Association are must stops for all Park related questions- wild life, safety, hiking, tours, classes , tours and such.
Enjoy Yellowstone!
DON’T
- Don’t leave any food outside on the tables. That will attract bears or other wild animals . It is not safe. Garbage goes only to the green bearproof cans across from you.
- Don’t approach wildlife. They are dangerous.
- Costco is in Bozeman. So do Walmart, Co-Op and any other major food store. So stop by and stock up on food and drinks if you are planning on eating in.
- Enjoy % off any meal when you dine at our restaurant The CORRAL in Gardiner. Nominated and won Best ELK Burger in Gardiner by USA Today 10 Bests in 2017. Futures delicious burgers from Montana sourced beef, bison, elk.
- EAT CAFE is a great option for breakfast.
- Complimentary 50 % OFF when you dine at our restaurant The CORRAL Burgers.
- Wonderland is fairly new. They are open year around and serve good coffee and pastry in the a.m., lunch and dinner. Tends to have long wait times often.
