• Bookings <10 days prior: Full payment required upfront.
• Bookings >30 days prior: 20% non-refundable deposit.
• Balance is due 10 days before arrival (auto-charged if card is on file).
• Please do charge your bank fees to Stay of Queenstown if paying by direct deposit, thank you.
If we can rebook your suite for your entire stay we will refund you. If we have a another booking come in for part of your cancelled stay we will refund you this percentage of your booking.
Terms and Conditions
All rates are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST), unless stated otherwise.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will incur the full cost of accommodation.
- Bookings made within 10 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
- Bookings made more than 30 days in advance require a 20% non-refundable deposit to confirm your reservation.
- The remaining balance is due 10 days before your arrival date.
- If paying by direct transfer please do not on charge your bank fees to Stay of Queenstown.
- Offer a comparable alternative, or
- Provide a full refund of all deposits and charges.

Stay of Queenstown is short-stay residential accommodation only. Parties, events, and gatherings are strictly prohibited. Breaches will result in immediate eviction, forfeiture of payment, a $1000 fine, and cleanup/damage charges.
- 3-night minimum stay year-round.
- 4-night minimum applies during Christmas & New Year (as per booking calendar).
- Occupy the suite with the number of guests booked only.
- Maintain cleanliness and return all items (books, utensils, fittings) in good condition.
- Report any pre-existing damage on arrival.
- Return your key to the designated lock box upon checkout. Lost key fee: $45 (incl. GST).
- Guests are liable for damages, breakages, or extra cleaning required after their stay.
- Property may be inspected during your stay.
- A key will be in a lock box (code emailed before arrival).
- Late check-out must be arranged in advance.
- $75 + GST for late check-out.
- After 1:00 PM, a full extra night is charged.
Please take care on stairs and pathways, especially in wet/snowy weather.
- One clearly marked car park per suite.
- Visitors must park offsite – suggestions include Vente Crescent or nearby suburban streets for free parking.
- We provide a daily service of your suite
- Breakfast items that are in your room on arrival will be replenished each day during the daily service
- Every 3 days: Towels refreshed
- 5+ night stays: Full suite and linen refresh.
- Please use the "Do Not Disturb" sign if you don’t want servicing
- All suites are smoke and vape free.
- Use the communal smoking area only.
- Violation results in $500 fine + $125 fumigation fee.
- No pets allowed, except certified service dogs (must notify in advance).
- Unauthorized pets = $500 penalty, immediate eviction, and full payment forfeiture.

- Descriptions on our site are accurate to our knowledge but subject to change.
- Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, Jan 2, Waitangi Day, Matariki, Good Friday, and ANZAC Day.
- Turn off heating, lights, and appliances when not in use.
- In winter, leave heating on low only when not at the suite.
- Charge your card for any damage, missing items, or additional cleaning.
- Charge collection fees and 15% p.a. interest on overdue accounts.
- Take legal action for unpaid balances if necessary.
