The hotel was stablished in 1999, it original name was "Paladar cubano" with 7 rooms since then it has increases this number to 25 rooms. In 2011 it was rename Hotel Nautilus.
Being a small hotel allows us to provide personalized service to each guest. Our location makes exploring the city in search of delicious food, bars, shopping centers and the beach as easy as a short walk. Thouht being close to everything Playa del Carmen has to offer implies that at some times the city will be more vibrant and full of energy, which might keep you up at night.

Bookings:
In order to confirm your booking it is necessary to make the payment for the total amount of the first night of stay. You can choose the payment method sending us a email to recepcion@hotelnautilus.con.mx, if not, we will proceed with a charge to the credit or debit card registrated in the booking 72 hr prior to your arrival date.
Any change to the booking will be subject to availability.
The hotel reserves the rights to reject any person during Check In if the information provided does not match the booking data. Likewise, the hotel reserves the rights to cancel or modify at its discretion and without prior notice the bookings that fail to comply with the "Terms and Conditions".
Additional information for group bookings:
Bookings that exceed 8 rooms and/or include a group of 24 adults within the same booking are considered groups.
It is necessary to send an email to recepcion@hotelnautilus.com.mx with a list containing the name and age of all members, as well as the assignment of each one within the desired rooms.
Age Restrictions:
Children that are 12 years or older are considered as adults.
Services included:
Access to the swimming pool, jacuzzi (hydromassage without hot water), free Wi-Fi and free parking but this is subject to availability.
Cleaning rooms services take place between 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Check In / Check Out:
Check In starts after 3:00 PM and the Check Out is until 11:00 AM
During registration, all adult members of the booking must provide an official identification: passport, voter ID, or driver's license.
At the Check In we require a credit card with an open voucher of $ 500.00 MXN per room per night in guarantee. At the time of your Check Out, if there was no damage to the property, loss of provided items or pending balance in your account, the voucher will be closed without any charge generated, therefore, the guarantee deposit will be returned in full. If you don't have a credit card, you can make this payment in cash.
Once the Check In process has been completed you will be given the room key, the key to the safe, the remote controls for the air conditioning and the television, which you must return to the Receptionist during your Check Out..
Payment:
For payments made with a credit or debit card, the hotel only accepts Visa o MasterCard. Cards of other type and American Express are not valid.

We only accept cash payment with the official national currency (MXN) or dolar (USA). The exchange rate has a fixed rate of 17.00 MXN.
Cancellations:
The cancellation of your booking must be requested at least 72 hours before the arrival date through our e-mail adress: recepcion@hotelnautilus.com.mx or by telepphone to the following numbers: +52 (984) 873 3708 / +52 (984) 149 0272.
After 72 hours there will be no refunds.
Additional charges:
All rooms already have a predetermined number of people included in the rate: Single 2 people, Double 2 people, Triple 3 people and Suites 2 people. In certain rooms, the number of people who can stay in the same room may increase at an additional cost of $ 200.00 MXN per person.
Check Out after 12:00 PM has a cost of $ 100.00 MXN per each additional hour that passes without concluding the Check Out.
The loss of the room kay, safe key, remote controls for air conditioning or television has an additional cost between $ 100.00 - $ 3000.00 MXN depending on the item.
The loss or damage "Whites" such as sheets, pillows, towels, mats or mattresses has an additional cost between $ 150.00 - $ 400.00 MXN depending on the item.
If you smoke inside the room you will be charged $ 250.00 MXN for the sanitization of it. Likewise, we inform you that the hotel is considered smoke-free, if the guest smokes inside the facilities, is seen by a representative of state or federal entities, the hotel may be subject to a fine, which will be responsibility of said guest to cover in its entirety, as well as other expenses derived from it.
The loss of any other item in the interior of the room will also have an additional cost which will be subject to hotel consideration.
Hotel regulations:
Comply with all internal regulations and visually established signs within the facilities.
Prohibited to smoke inside the facilities, the hotel is considered smoke free.
Animals are not allowed inside the facilities.
The rest of all guests must be respected, so we kindly ask that from 10:00 PM to avoid making loud noises.
The visit or stay of additional people that are unregistered to the guests room is not allowed if notice you will be entitled to an additional charge.
Visual contamination of the establishment through personal belongings in visible areas such as spreading clothes on the balcony is prohibited.
Acts of violence, unlawful, indecent (naked) or lack of morality to any guest or work personnel are prohibited. The hotel reserves all rights to its prejudice to remove from the property such persons who commit any of these offenses.
Personal articles:
It is the responsibility of each guest to ensure that their personal items are safe at all times. The hotel has a civil liability insurance which covers the following aspects of real estate and activities:
- For the use and possession of elevators, escalators, elevators inside the hotel facilities, advertisements and advertising posters, installed inside or outside the guest establishment.
- The participation of the Insured in fairs or tourist exhibitions, including the installation of advertising stand.
- For luggage introduced to the establishment by the guest.
- For money, securities, jewelry and watches in the custody of the Insured's employees and / or in hotel safes.
