The Wycliffe Apartments serve the staff and guests of Wycliffe Bible Translators for short term stays of up to 30 days. 
We have two and three bedroom units available.  When you make a reservation, you are booking an apartment type (two or three bedroom units and not a specific unit). Each apartment type includes similar apartments of similar size and equipment, however, interior design can be different.  Apartments A, D, E and H are first floor units and apartment B, C, F and G are second floor units that are accessible by internal stairways.

Check-In and Check-Out
Five days prior to your stay a door code will be issued via email to the booker of the apartment. A second notice with your code will arrive the day before the stay.**Please note, the locks are set on a timer and your code will not open your door prior to the 3pm check in time. Your code will be active until 10AM on the day of your departure. Please ensure you have fully vacated your unit by 10AM. 

Extending Your Stay 
If you are already staying with us and you would like to stay longer, please let us know at least 24 hours before your check- out date. We will do our best to accommodate your new plans and this could include relocating you to a similar apartment should this be necessary. A separate invoice will be required.   

Damages 
Pre-existing damages or room issues must be reported immediately after check in to avoid responsibility and potential charges.  Mail Service and PackagesWycliffe allows guests, with permission, to receive occasional packages and special deliveries at the property. We are not responsible for the packages or their contents or the storage of them. Please ask your reservations specialist  for more details about mail delivery. 

Personal Businesses
No resident may operate a business or sell products of any kind (for profit or not for profit) in the Wycliffe Apartments.  Any such enterprise could jeopardize the tax exempt status of Wycliffe, and will not be allowed.  

Firearms
Possessing, brandishing, carrying (whether concealed or openly), or using a weapon (including any type of gun or firearm) while inside any of Wycliffe's buildings or on any of Wycliffe's property is strictly prohibited.  Nothing in this section shall prohibit an individual from lawfully keeping a firearm locked inside their personal motor vehicle, in accordance with Florida law. 

Drug & Alcohol Free
All Wycliffe properties are drug, alcohol, and tobacco free areas.  No smoking, use of tobacco products, vaping, or consumption of alcohol or illegal drugs are allowed.   

Golf Carts
Golf carts owned by Wycliffe are only for work-related use, or by designated year-round residents. Personal golf carts may be used,  but must adhere to Orange County and Florida rules and regulations.  The posted speed limit is 10 mph.

Guest Safety Policy
It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and room number to any person they wish to receive calls or visits from. Safety cameras are used throughout the premises, and anyone on our property may be recorded.
 
Parking
Free parking is included and Wycliffe does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property.  

Pets and Service Animals
Pets are not allowed in the Wycliffe Apartments. Service animals may be permitted with proof of the appropriate up to date licenses and vaccinations. Wycliffe management must be notified at the time of booking.Guests are required to pick up and properly dispose of their service animal’s waste in all locations, including in wooded, grassy, unmowed or public areas. 
By bringing a service animal, the owner agrees to indemnify and hold Wycliffe harmless from any damages or injuries caused by their animal.

Quiet Hours
As a consideration to others, please keep noise to a minimum between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am. 

Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is available and free for guests. The password is posted on the refrigerator and on the wall next to the front door. 

Pool
Pool keys are located on the kitchen counter. The pool is open from dawn to dusk.  Please follow all rules posted at the pool.  The pool is not available for use by guests or unaccompanied minors without the prior permission of Wycliffe.  There is no lifeguard on duty, and use of the pool is at your own risk.  

Inclement Weather
In the event of a storm, please take the necessary precautions to keep yourself safe.  An app, weather radio, or a local news channel are recommended for the most current information.  
Wycliffe may order you to evacuate in the event of severe weather.
The designated storm shelters are the first floor hallways in the Activity Center. Use your pool key to gain access.

Tropical Storm or Hurricane WeatherWhen a tropical storm or hurricane watch is issued, meaning a storm may be within 48 hours of affecting the area, Wycliffe will notify guests and residents to prepare their sites for the storm and begin evacuation if necessary. 

If authorities call for an evacuation, it will be mandatory to leave the Wycliffe campus.  Wycliffe is not a hurricane shelter, and will not be available for overnight shelter. Please make arrangements for a safe place to shelter before the storm. The Orange County web site will have a list of shelters in the area. 
Please make sure you remove or anchor anything on your porch. These Items can become projectiles in high winds or tornados. 

Medical, Fire, or Other Emergencies
In the event of an emergency, Call 911 first.

An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is located in the Activity Center on the first floor outside the elevator.
