Mandala Springs is a beautiful pristine eco-wellness retreat center located only 20 minutes from Harbin Hot Springs. We are a vegetarian and substance-free nature sanctuary. Our policy regarding guest rentals is we only allow plant-based and vegetarian food to be cooked on the property. We intend to do our part in the conservation of the environment and to preserve the sanctity and sacredness of this pristine land.  We ask all our campers and guests to honor and respect our intentions for the benefit of all visitors. 
We are located on 100+ acres of pristine parkland in the town of Cobb in beautiful Lake County California. We have cabins, cottages, country homes, RV & campsites available. We can accommodate up to 87 people in beds and up 400 people camping and in RV's sites. Our amenities include a seasonal swimming pool (mid-May to mid-October) paddle boats and paddle boards within our on-site pond, there is refreshing wading in year-round Kelsey Creek. We have 2 community fire pits for roasting marshmallows and sipping tea. There is also an onsite mini-golf course, hiking trails, yoga & meditation spots. Robert Louis Stevenson Park, Calistoga, and Napa Valley are only a 40-minute drive from the property.

Terms and Conditions

I ("Guest") agree to these terms and conditions as this agreement pertains to participation in the Event hosted by Earth Aware Hawaii DBA Mandala Springs (“Mandala”) during the Dates and Premises specified above. All copies, facsimiles, and reproductions of this document shall be as valid as the original. Section

Section 1. RELEASE OF LIABILITY Guest hereby releases Mandala, its officers, directors, employees, agents, land owners, or representatives from any and all liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, sickness, or death, as well as property and expenses, of any nature whatsoever which may be incurred by Guest regarding participation in any all activities related to the Event, including transportation. Guest further hereby agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Mandala, its officers, directors, employees, agents, land-owners, or representatives for any liability sustained by said acts, including expenses incurred attendant thereto. 

Section 2. EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT PERMISSION Guest understands that on rare occasions an emergency requiring medical treatment can develop. Guest hereby consents to receive medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during the Event. Guest further agrees to pay for any medical, dental, surgical, or other hospital care, or diagnosis rendered to Guest friends and family.  It is understood that efforts shall be made to contact Guest designated emergency contact(s) before rendering treatment, but that any of the above treatment will not be withheld if the designated emergency contact(s) cannot be reached.  

Section 3. INCORPORATION OF RETREAT RULES Guest hereby agrees and represents that in consideration of Guest being permitted upon the Premises for any purpose Guest has reviewed and understands and consents to the Mandala Use Policies.  Guest  acknowledges and stipulates that for purposes of any claim or cause of action arising out of matters that are subject of this Agreement.  

Section 4. ASSUMPTION OF RISK Guest understands that participation with Mandala and/or any project, activity, or event sponsored, managed, arranged, or promoted by, or otherwise affiliated or associated with the Mandala brand may include activities that may be hazardous to Guest. Guest further recognizes and understands that such participation may involve certain inherently dangerous activities. Guest hereby expressly and specifically assumes the risk of injury or harm in the activities and release Mandala from all liability for injury, illness, death, and/or property damage that may result, with the exception of any injury or harm resulting from Mandala’s gross negligence. 

Section 5. MISCELLANEOUS Attendee expressly understands and agrees that this Agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law, and that this Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Guest agrees that in the event that any clause or provision of this Agreement shall be held to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such clause or provision shall not otherwise affect the remaining provisions of this Agreement. Similarly, if Mandala fails to enforce any provision of this Agreement, such waiver does not extend to any other provisions, which shall remain intact and binding despite any waiver. 

Section 6. HEADERS; TRANSLATIONS Attendee understands and expressly agrees that the headers for each section of this agreement and the accompanying translations following said sections are not binding on the parties. Guest further acknowledges and agrees that said headers and translations are merely included for informational and comprehensive purposes. By booking this reservation guest ACKNOWLEDGES THAT IT HAS READ AND UNDERSTANDS THIS AGREEMENT AND AGREES TO THE PROVISIONS HEREIN.


Use Policies
1. Property Rules 
A. Vegetarian and Substance Free Policy Mandala is a vegetarian and substance-free facility. It is our desire to create a peaceful and sacred atmosphere for all guests and visitors. We do not allow the cooking of any animal products on our property, which includes meat, fish and eggs, and no drinking of alcoholic beverages. 
B. Loss and Damage Mandala Springs cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of our guests, and we shall not be liable for any failures beyond its control, like natural disasters, fires, excessive smoke, accidents, or any unforeseen acts of God.
C. Eviction 
Mandala Springs reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate use of the property or any of its facilities by the customer in an event of any breach of these terms and conditions. The customer will be required to vacate the property and Mandala Springs shall not refund payment or accept any consequential liability, damages or loss. 
D. Safety Rules Whether you are new to Mandala or a regular visitor, all guests must make safety their first and highest priority. Camping may involve use of fire circles, hiking in hilly areas, exploring near the creek and being exposed to plants, insects, and animals that are usually not found in urban areas. Guests are responsible for their own personal safety and insurance coverages, and by signing the reservation contract you waive all right of legal action against Mandala/Cobb Valley, LLC. Mandala Springs Use Policies E. Pool & Pond The pool & pond rules are; Swim at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. Parents & guardians, please safeguard your children. There must be 1 adult with every 2 children under 16, while at the pool or pond.\ 
F. Fire Wood is provided for use at designated fire circles and for use in fireplaces. Do not gather your own wood for fireplaces. Should you need additional firewood, contact the management. All fire preparations must be conducted or supervised at all times by adults. Do not build a fire larger than you can control. 
G. Hiking Mandala property is a wooded area with sloping creek areas. Please use caution when hiking and as necessary to avoid slipping or falling. Kindly report any new fallen trees which are found to be blocking trails or the flow of the creek. 
H. Creek A small creek runs along the perimeter of the park. It is normally quite shallow and both children and adults may enjoy walking along the banks and wading in the water. In substantial rain, however, flash flooding regularly occurs. All guests must exercise great respect and caution and avoid going near the creek during and after heavy rainfall. 
I. Emergencies In case of an emergency, guests may use the telephone provided in the Mandala Community Room or Mandala store. Emergency numbers are listed near the phone. There are First Aid Kits in the Community Room Staff Kitchen and Mandala Store & Welcome Center. 
J. Animals & Pets In order to safe guard the natural surroundings, No pets are allowed on property. Exception: Trained Service Dogs and Psychiatric service dogs are allowed to accompany their owners. Other special arrangements as necessary may be addressed on an individual basis. 
K.Parking Guests must park in the designated parking lots near the Mandala Store & Welcome Center or Parking Lot A near the Community Room. Individuals with disabilities and the elderly may park nearest their destination. Please notify Mandala staff in advance of any special parking needs. 
L. Smoking, Drugs, and Alcohol Mandala is a substance-free facility. No drugs or alcohol are allowed on property. However, to accommodate guests who must smoke, you may smoke away from all buildings near the creek. 
M. Our Ethical Commitment As part of Mandala’s commitment to the environment and honoring all life forms, we request all visitors and guests to respect our cooking and consuming of vegan/vegetarian food only on property rule Help us in our attempt in lowering our collective carbon footprint, and preserving the sanctity of all life and property 
N. Stewardship & Earth Aware Mandala Springs is committed to preserving the land as a sanctuary in its natural condition. An ethic of respect, stewardship and responsibility for nature and all life forms on the Mandala property and it’s surrounding areas is requested for children as well as for adults. This includes for example, taking care not to cut trees, break off limbs, dig up plants, take rocks, damage trails, or pollute or disturb waterways. Please pick up any litter created by you or your group. Recycling & trash containers are provided in all of the buildings and throughout the grounds. 
O. Damages & Personal Property Your group agrees to reimburse Cobb Valley, LLC for any loss and/or damages to the property other than reasonable wear and tear. Cobb Valley LLC will not be responsible for any damages to vehicles parked on the property, or while driving on the property. Participants will receive a key to their room and are responsible for the security of their own belongings. 
P. Check out is at 12pm, all keys are to be brought to the office or dropped in the key box on the office porch.
