Property and Cancelation Policies :
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancellations or modifications must be made by e-mail only. Please e-mail info@thedearlykohtaohostel.com 48 hours, or more* prior to the arrival check-in date of your reservation..
- In the case of a no-show, you will be charged for the full amount of the total reservation.
- *High-Peak seasons, period of January, 13th-15th April, July-August, and 11th-31st December cancellation policy is applied as follows ;
- Period of 13th-15th April, July through August cancellations or modifications must be made 5 days prior to the arrival date to avoid a late cancellation fee. If cancellations or modifications are made within 5 days but no less than 3 days prior to the arrival date, only the first night of the reservation will be charged. If cancellations or modifications are made within 3 days prior to the arrival date, the total reservation will be charged.
- Period of 20th December through January cancellations or modifications must be made 7 days prior to the arrival date to avoid late cancellation fees. If cancellations or modifications are made within 7 days but no less than 3 days prior to the arrival date, only the first night of the reservation will be charged. If cancellations or modifications are made within 3 days prior to the arrival date, the total reservation will be a charged.
Terms and Conditions
RESERVATION:
- A major credit card detail is required to make a reservation. The name of the cardholder must match the name under the reservation.
- A non-refundable deposit of 1 night is required upon reservation, except for 'Long Stay Rate' and 'Diving Package', a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the price is required. Kindly note that without a deposit the reservation is incomplete.
- The total balance is to be settled upon check-in
- We accept cash and card payments, VISA/MASTER only. A 3% surcharge is applied for card payments.
A current passport (foreigner) or a national identification card (Thai citizen) is required upon checking in. Without photo identification of your passport or national identification card, we cannot check you in. We reserve the right to charge you the first night of your reservation as a result of a late cancellation.
OTHER DEPOSIT:
A refundable cash deposit of ฿400 is required upon check-in for the room key (฿100) and the provided towel (฿300). Missing items result in losing the deposit.
ADDITIONAL GUEST:
A maximum of 1 additional guest is allowed in the Ensuite Private room type only, ฿700 additional charges, per night, are applied for the additional guest aged above 7 years old, bedding and Breakfast included. Free accommodation for a child under 7 years old, given that the child is sharing a bed with their parent. Please send us an inquiry for an extra bed via email at info@thedearlykohtaohostel.com
AGE RESTRICTION:
- Minors under the age of 18 are not allowed to check in without a parent or a lawful guardian unless a consent letter from a parent or guardian with contact information is provided. Non-cooperation will be refused for the service without a refund.
- Shared Room, accommodate age above 16 years old only.
For group booking, depending on availability we cannot guarantee that all members of a group will be assigned the same shared room. We will try our best to make these accommodations.
DORMITORY:
Personal lockers are provided in every dormitory room for each guest, please bring your own locks.
BREAKFAST:
Free breakfast is provided for all guests from 7:00-10:00, breakfast is available on the lobby terrace.
ENERGY SAVING:Due to the conditions of the island, water, and electricity are our most scarce resources on the island. Please be mindful of your usage to prevent any shortages. Air conditioning in all shared dormitory rooms will be off between 11.30-17.00 hrs.
VISITORS:
The entire property is reserved for residents only. 'Visitors' or 'Non-residents' are welcome in the lobby terrace between 10 am - 10 pm only. Violation of this rule will result in a penalty charge of 1,000฿ for each visitor and the guest may be asked to leave immediately without any refund.
