Werner Rauchenstein and his wife, Renamary, created the Swiss Alaska Inn in 1976. It is now owned by their daughter and her husband, Romy and Chris. They enjoy continuing a tradition of friendly service and comfortable accommodations. The Swiss Alaska Inn is a short walk from historic Downtown Talkeetna, and is located between the public boat launch and the small, local airport.
Our rooms offer various bed configurations with private bathrooms. All rooms are non-smoking and have free WiFi. The wireless password will be provided upon check-in. Most rooms have two beds, some have roll-a-ways available for additional guests. We have rooms that are wheelchair accessible and rooms that are pet friendly.
We offer a complete breakfast menu in our restaurant located on the same premises. This includes our world famous Swiss-style French Toast, delicious Roesti, and Breakfast Schnitzel!

If you check in later than 10pm (when our reservation desk closes) please give us a call at 907-733-2424 so we can arrange a late arrival check-in for you.
