Property Information

This is a bed and breakfast in Metro Tagaytay / Silang, Cavite. Our place is usually breezy all year, quiet and serene, away from the busy streets of Tagaytay; perfect for relaxation and staycation. You can bring your bikes and skateboards and play around our wide roads. We have a total of 20 rooms.

Property and Cancelation Policies :
The pre-payment is non-refundable. However, the deposit may be used to rebook to a future date, subject to availability. Rebooking and/or change of date and/or room is only allowed when done at least 14 days prior to check-in date. No rebooking is allowed on holidays and during peak season. “Shortened stays” or “no shows” will be considered a cancellation, no refunds will be issued, and rebooking will not be allowed.
Terms and Conditions

When you book accommodations or services at Lucia’s Bed and Breakfast Resort, you agree to the following terms and conditions. We kindly ask that you take a moment to read them prior to making a booking. 

The person making the reservation will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all persons in his/her group who will be staying at Lucia’s Bed and Breakfast Resort. 

The terms and conditions herein stated should not be construed to be complete and exclusive. 

I. Definitions

a)    “Resort” means Lucia’s Bed and Breakfast Resort.
b)    “Client” means the person who has the legal capacity to enter into a contract of accommodation or services with the Resort Client shall also mean any person making a booking on behalf of any group they represent whether that is, without limitation, a tour operator or agency, a government agency, company, club, society or a group of individuals with no formal affiliation. Client may be the same person as the Guest.
c)    “Booking” means any reservation made by Client with the Resort.
d)    “Contract” means the contractual relationship between Client as governed by the booking confirmation and these Terms and Conditions (T&Cs).
e)    “Property” means the premises for which your booking is made. 

II. Booking Contract
Upon completion of the booking process, a confirmation statement which will serve as the contract between the Resort and Client will be sent to the Client’s designated electronic mail (email). The booking contract shall only be valid upon our receipt of pre-payment. By completing a booking, you agree to these terms and conditions and permits us to contact you by email and telephone for any booking related matters. 

III. Payments
To confirm your reservation, a pre-payment of 50% of the total published amount must be processed through our Paypal link (debit and credit cards accepted) available through our website. Balance is payable at the Reception upon check-in. Any outstanding fees must be paid to the Reception upon check-out.

IV. Check-in and Check-out
In the interests of security and fraud prevention, at the time of check-in, guests may be required to confirm their identity by providing their booking confirmation together with a valid government-issued identification card or passport. Standard check-in time and check-out time for all room accommodations is 3:00 PM and 12:00PM, respectively. Meanwhile, camping guests may check-in between 10:00 AM to6:00 PM and check-out 24 hours after check-in time. Guests must inform the Resort if their estimated time of arrival is beyond 7:00 PM. Early check-in and late check-out cannot be guaranteed, subject to availability, and subject to the following additional fees:
- Casitas, Casa Grande, Forest, Family, and Pool Cabin: PhP 1,000.00 per hour
- Pool Villa: PhP 1,500.00 per hour
- Camping: PhP 800.00 per hour   

V. 
Security Deposit

A security deposit of PhP 2,000.00 per room will be collected upon check-in and will be refunded at check-out. The Resort reserves the right to withhold the guest’s deposit for any damage incurred during their stay, and the guest hereby authorizes the Resort to make this charge when necessary. 

VI. 
Children and Minors

All children six (6) years old and above are considered paying guest. Children ages five (5) years old and below can stay for free, if using existing beds. Extra beds are available with an additional fee. Guests under eighteen (18) years must be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of twelve (12) must be supervised by a grown-up guest at all times.  

VII. 
Extra Person/Bed

Extra person and/or extra bed fee is PhP 1,200.00 per head per night, inclusive of free breakfast. These are limited and subject to availability. Please check and reserve at the time of booking. 

VIII. 
Visitors

Visitors of stay-in guests shall be charged PhP 800.00 per head to access Resort amenities. Visitors are allowed from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM only. 

IX. 
Resort Etiquette

a)    Privacy and Security - The Resort gates are closed for all visitors, including guests’ visitors, between 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM everyday. Any checked-in guest who would want to stay out of the Resort at the fore-mentioned period must inform the Reception beforehand.
b)    Quiet Hours - After 10:00 PM, the Resort requests all guests to minimize noise as respect to other guests and neighbors. Failure to do so will result in loss of deposit.
c)    No Smoking – Smoking inside the rooms and common areas are strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a PhP 5,000.00 fee to cover for extra room cleaning and treatment.
d)    Prohibition of Illegal Drugs - The use and/or possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia is strictly prohibited inside the property. 

X. 
Pets
Strictly no pets allowed in any rooms/area of the property except the camping grounds, wherein they are attended at all times by their owners. Pets must wear diaper to maintain cleanliness and sanitation. Failure to follow these rules will result in a PhP 5,000.00 penalty fee per pet and the guest's pet(s) being caged at the garage during the whole duration of stay. Pets will not be allowed to leave the garage area at any time. The Resort will not be held liable for any injuries, loss, sickness, or death that may happen to the pet(s). Moreover, should the pet cause harm to any guests and Resort staff, the guest who owns/brought the pet shall be held accountable. 

XI. 
Outside Food and Drinks

Guests may bring food and drinks inside the resort. However, we shall charge corkage fee of PhP1,000.00 per liter for alcoholic beverages. 

XII. Use of Common Areas
All staying guests have access to designated common areas, such as the pool, gardens, gazebos, basketball court, café, and cooking area without any extra costs on a first-come, first-served basis. Nevertheless, the Resort reserves the right to close the common areas on a short notice without warning and shall not pay any compensation for its lack of availability. Guests are expected to follow policies for use of such amenities and likewise, maintain its order and cleanliness. 

XIII. 
Use of Shared Kitchen/Cooking
Areas As much as we would like you to make the best of our equipped kitchens, we would like to inform that we do not accept heavy cooking that includes excessive use of oil and spicy ingredients causing strong odors. This will not only damage our interior but will also disturb other guests. Guests must make sure to clean, dry and put away any of the kitchen utensils they have used. Failure to comply with our kitchen/cooking policy will result in a fee based on the costs of extra and/or special cleaning. 

XIV. 
Resort Events

Please be aware that at certain times throughout the year, our Resort may host weddings, events, and parties which you may feel would be an intrusion to your stay. Should you want assurance of no such events occurring during your chosen dates, you may contact the Resort prior booking for information. 

XV. 
Guest Behavior

Guests' are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with Resort policies and procedures. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Resort, or cause offense to other guests or staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the Resort if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case, the Resort shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred. Guests shall exercise diligence in the protection of their persons and effects against injury, theft, loss and other contingencies. Hence, the Resort shall not be held liable for accidents, injuries or any untoward incident that may occur while inside the resort premises. 

XVI. 
Guest Liabilities

Guests shall be held responsible for the proper use of the facilities including furniture, appliances, and equipment. The Resort reserves the right to hold the guests liable for any damages and/or loss of property. Damages and breakages must be immediately reported at the Reception. Guests must settle their liabilities upon check-out. The resort shall be free from any damages, liability, or responsibility as a result of any unlawful and/or wrongful act committed by the guest/s. 

XVII. 
Resort Liabilities

We promise that the Property shall be in a condition reasonably suitable for accommodation and that any services that we agree to provide or arrange will be provided with reasonable skill and care. However, there is no guarantee that the guest will be able to stay in the specific room selected which may be due to operational or safety reasons. Should the guest be allocated to a room with a lower rate than originally selected, the Resort will refund the difference in room rates. On rare occasions that the Resort may need to cancel your booking, you will be given a full refund but the Resort shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation. The Resort reserves the right to cancel any reservation, accept no responsibility, and shall not pay any compensation if an event beyond our control will prevent us to provide such accommodation or service to you including, but not limited to, industrial action, fire, flooding, failure of power and electrical supplies, or force majeure. 

XVIII. 
Complaints

We would wish to resolve amicably any reasonable complaint that we receive relating to the standard of service or accommodation arrangements. If your complaint cannot be resolved during your stay, a follow-up must be provided in a written letterform with all relevant information and proof (i.e. photo, video) to us within seven (7) days from your check-out date. Failure to provide such document within the stipulated time period would mean that the complaint has been resolved. The Resort cannot accept any responsibility if we have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify the matter. 

XIX. 
Closed-circuit Television (CCTV) System

The Resort has a fully functioning CCTV system in selected common areas running 24 hours aday for your and our security. We have the right to use our own footage in whichever way necessary. 

XX. 
Data Privacy

The Resort is committed to protect the privacy, confidentiality and security of personal information of its clients. All information you provide will only be used in connection to your booking. 

XXI. 
Use of Website and Other Online Platforms
While all reasonable efforts have been taken to ensure the accuracy of information on its Website and other online platforms (i.e., Lucia’s Tagaytay on Facebook and Instagram), the Resort does not accept responsibility for errors or omissions and reserve the right to amend, cancel or vary any of the arrangements featured on the aforementioned without notice. These online platforms may contain links to websites operated by parties other than the Resort. Those links are provided to you for your reference and convenience only. We do not own or control the content of those websites and are not responsible for their content or your use of them.
