The Blue Star Motel is a boutique motel in the Saugatuck - Douglas area. Modern furnishings with minimalist design creates a welcoming, casual, and above all else, comfortable stay. Our patio rooms open up to a covered porch with two Adirondack chairs that overlook our sun deck and hot tub. We are not a flashy motel. We do aim to elevate the motel experience with a friendly staff, exceptionally clean rooms, and modern amenities at a reasonable price.

No one likes to cancel but we know sometimes you can’t help it. We try to have a policy that is flexible with our guests but understanding that cancellations may prevent other guests from booking.
- Rooms canceled 7 days prior to arrival, will receive their deposit refunded back to the card on file.
- Room canceled less than 7 days before their reservation are subject to a cancellation fee equal to the first nights stay.
- If you fail to cancel or alter your plans and do not show up for your reservation, you will be charged the remainder of your outstanding balance and your room will be canceled.
- If you must depart early than your reservation departure date, that your unused room nights will be subject to the same cancellation policy above. No refunds for early check out.

Deposit of the first night room and tax is taken at the time of booking. The remaining full balance will be due at check in.
