Located right on the west shore of Canyon Lake in Rapid City, South Dakota. Nestled in the foothills of the Black Hills, Canyon Lake Resort offers a restful and peaceful atmosphere with "Out of town feel...In town appeal." Join us at our family-friendly lodge, motel and cabins. Accommodations range from motel rooms with King/ 2 queen beds, single studio cabins, 2 bedroom cabins, 3 bedroom cabin, our 5 bedroom Cattail Lodge and now the Reunion Lodge which is 2 units that can accommodate up to 38 people.

Our lodging is available year round. All of the units are equipped with coffee pots, refrigerator, microwave and/or stove. There are BBQ grills located throughout the property. Our beautiful resort is the perfect location for any family milestone or gathering, including reunions, family vacations, weddings, rehearsals and more. Come see what it's all about.

Canyon Lake Resort is a relaxing and family friendly place to stay when in Rapid City. We have standard 2 queen bed motel rooms, cabins, and larger 5 bedroom + Lodges. Choose your dates above the available lodging will be displayed. We are located on the shores of Canyon Lake a few minutes away from downtown Rapid City on the West side of town close to the black hills. Here guests can enjoy an evening roasting s'mores by the fire pit, paddleboat rides in the daytime/hiking and a quick dip in our outdoor pool. We just recently upgraded all of our rooms, cabins, and lodges!

Located on the southwest edge of Rapid City, there is direct access to bike trails, fishing and best of all only minutes from downtown.

Canyon Lake Resort is great for family reunions with 12 motel rooms, 10 cabins, a 5-bedroom "Cattail" lodge with game room and our special "Reunion" lodge.
