August Jack Motor Inn Terms of Service, Policies & Fees

Room Occupancy – The fire code permits between 2 to 4 guests in a room depending on category.

WIFI – August Jack provides complimentary internet. The network is monitored and the use of the Internet for illegal activities is strictly forbidden and could result in an investigation by the law enforcement.

Pets are welcome only with prior written authorization by August Jack Management. Pet Fee is $20.00 per per day.A maximum of one pet per room. An additional deposit of $150.00 is required at time of check-in and will be refunded if no additional cleaning is required and/or damage incurred. Pets must always be kept in control and must not be left unattended. Any restitution provided to other guests for damage, injuries or etc., caused by the pets will be charged to the pet owner accordingly. Pet owners will be asked to provide their cell phone number upon check-in. Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture, if pet hair is found on the bed sheets and pillows, a cleaning and disinfecting charge of $300 will be charged to the guest.

Damage/Theft – The motel is not responsible for theft or damage to vehicles or contents on premises. Furthermore, were serve the right to charge guests the cost of theft of hotel property and/or rectifying damage caused by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act of the guests to the motel’s property or structure. Should this theft or damage come to light after the guests' departure, we reserve the right to make a charge to their credit/debit card or send an invoice for the amount to the registered.

Check-out time is 11am. Late check-out requests will be accommodated where possible but may be subject to additional charges. 11am to 1pm = 15% of daily rate 1pm to 3pm = 25% of daily rate.

Cancellation - Guests are required to cancel their room reservation 72 hours prior to check-in to avoid a fee. Depending on the season and availability the cancellation fee can range from one night to the entire length of reservation.

Invite Friends, Relatives, or Acquaintances - Guests are allowed to invite friends, relatives, or acquaintances to their room between the hours of 9:00am until 9:00pm, provided they have obtained prior permission from the front desk. Guests must inform the front desk of any visitors, including friends, relatives, or acquaintances, before inviting them to their room. Failure to do so may result in the individual being considered a trespasser, which could lead to criminal charges. In such a case, the hotel reserves the right to charge a $100 fee.

If a guest's friends, relatives, or acquaintances wish to stay overnight in the room, the total number of occupants, including the guest, must not exceed four people.

The guest must inform the front desk staff of the additional persons staying overnight, and a charge of $30.00 per person will apply.

A valid credit card is required at the time of booking. If a credit card is not available, your reservation will only be held for a minimal time and will be subject to release.

A valid credit card is also required at check-in along with a valid piece of Photo ID.

August Jack Motor Inn may enter the room and remove a guest for any of the following reasons without refund, Removing the guest from the premises does not limit the Hotel’s right to charge the guest for punitive damages up to $1,000:

· Disorderly conduct,

· Violating the establishment's posted rules,

· Using the premises for an unlawful act,

· Failing to register as a guest,

· using false pretenses to obtain accommodations,

· Exceeding the guest room occupancy limit,

· Throwing a party in the room,

· Bringing in or sneaking in pets and animals without written authorization,

· Bringing property that may be dangerous to others onto the premises,

· Violating federal, state, or local lodging establishment laws or regulations,
