Wake up surrounded by nature in the Minnesota Northwoods! Classic log cabin constructed in 1940 with modernized renovation in 2017 means vintage charm with new interior and appliances. Located on beautiful northwest Lake Vermilion: Walk down the hill to fish from the dock or watch the stars come out over the water. Easy drive from Cook on paved roads. We look forward to hosting you and Matt will stop in to say hi during the first day or two of your stay.

The space

Large sunny deck, brand new kitchen, original stone fireplace, spacious living room, 3 upstairs bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, yard, dock and fire ring. First bedroom has a king bed and double futon. Second bedroom has two twin beds. The third bedroom, which is accessed through a door in the first bedroom, has one twin bed and a desk.

Wilderness to explore! Your perfect location for fishing, boating, hunting, hiking, bird-watching, kayaking, canoeing, sunbathing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, reading, relaxing, writing, art-making, s’mores, exploring nature, romantic getaway, family fun or quiet retreat!
