Property Information

Just up the street from famous sand beach at Providence Bay on Manitoulin Island. Very popular tourist area with several events and festivals in the immediate area. The largest freshwater island in the world, and one of the most beautiful. It's all definitely worth a visit! This bay is famous for its sand beach as well as the rainbow trout that run up the river in the spring and the salmon that do the same in the fall.

We would like to thank you for choosing to stay at Manitoulin Huron Sands motel. On behalf of the staff and management, we would like to extend a warm welcome to you and congratulate you for choosing our motel. Manitoulin Huron Sands Motel has been reopened under a new management. We have done major improvements and renovations in the fall of 2019 and winter 2020. We are happy to provide excellent facilities and amenities such as free internet, coffee corner, fridge, microwave, A/C and a separate bathroom in all our rooms. Our motel is located 2 minutes from the sandy public beach and a huge kids’ playground.

We are happy to offer a breakfast, lunch and a dinner from our restaurant during the season.
