Palmeras de Mahahual Cabañas is located between the Mayan jungle and the Caribbean Sea. It is a 100% wooden accommodation, designed to not generate ecological impact in the exuberant ecosystem of Mahahual. And so that our guests can enjoy a cozy space with essential amenities to enjoy a beautiful vacation in the Mexican Caribbean.
The rooms have comfortable beds, private bathroom, air conditioning, mini bar, coffee maker, safe box and free WIFI.
All the rooms have a balcony and a beautiful sea view, from where you can enjoy the sea breeze and see wonderful sunrises.
The Cabins are located in front of the pedestrian Malecón (boardwalk) and the beach. Among three of the best restaurants with beach clubs.
We offer one hour of bikes included per day to ride by the Malecón, it has 2.5km and borders the entire coast of Mahahual.
Our guests have a discount on massages and on the snorkel tour, the boat leaves from the beach in front of the accommodation. In this activity they will take you to the coral reef where usually there are see turtles, manta rays and a variety of fish.
Mahahual is a diving paradise, because it is located in front of the Mesoamerican coral reef, which is the second largest in the world.
Located next to the cabins, is one of the most experienced diving centers to enjoy this activity.
Another incredible diving area is Banco Chichorro, the largest atoll in Mexico, located 1 hour by boat from the coast. It is a unique dive and snorkel site, which attracts divers from all over the world.

Property and Cancelation Policies :
The payment of 50% of the reservation will be non-refundable even if the reservation was canceled in advance.
All reservations are subject to the 100% charge for early departures, unused nights and no-shows.
Terms and Conditions
50% charge will be made as an advance at the moment of your reservation, and the other 50% can be paid at the accommodation in cash, transfer or card (4% commission).
Payment must be completed at check-in before to entering the room.
Check-in time: from 2:00 p.m.
Check-out time: until 12 noon. In case of not respecting the departure time, a full stay must be paid.
Smoking is forbidden throughout the accommodation, due to the fact that the cabins are 100% made of wood and palapas. It is possible to smoke on the boardwalk or on the beach.
It is forbidden to use the kitchenettes for the same reason.
Any damage to the property, furniture and utilities of the accommodation must be paid in full by the guest.
Penalty fee for smoking in the accommodation: Equivalent to one night on the accommodation.
Cost for loss of key: 180 pesos (9USD).
It is forbidden to play loud music in the accommodation, to care and respect for the rest of the guests. After 8:00 p.m., the rest schedule must be respected.
Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
Minors are not accepted without being accompanied by an adult.
Ecological responsibility: We request that the air conditioners and lights be turned off when leaving the room.
Sheets are changed every 2 nights, take care of them.
And the towels will be changed when they are left on the bathroom floor.
The accommodation is not responsible for any event or situation outside of the property.
