DEFINITIONS

General Resort Terms

• Implementation of a PHP 1,000.00 deposit upon check-in. Deposit can be claimed once room key/s are surrendered upon check out. Lost/missing keys will be charged as lock replacement.
• We have a strict Peace & Quiet Policy from 10PM to 6AM, all guests violating this policy will receive a penalty according to the severity of the act. A standard three-strike rule will be implemented: Resort guest(s) will be given up to three warnings from Resort staff for violating the peace- to which after a third warning is given will C&J Sunset View Resort then penalize the unruly guest(s) with a fee that suits the severity.  
• The L-shape Pool is for the private use of Poolside Suite guests only. Non-poolside suite guests are expected to respect this policy. 
• No cooking or smoking inside all rooms. C&J Sunset View Resort is a strictly non-room smoking resort. There will be a penalty of PHP 3,000 per room. Cooking stations are limited but available.
• Housekeeping and admin personnel will be unavailable 8pm until 7am. Last call for housekeeping assistance will be at 6:30pm.
• Housekeeping will assist you before check-in and 1 hour before check-out time. For consumable refills and items kindly ask for assistance.
• Extra fees such as in-room dining and restaurant bills will be charged as room service and paid in the reception area during check-out.
• A late check-out Fee of PHP 1,000 will be added every 30 minutes for every room past the given check-out time.
• A copy of emergency numbers and reception contacts are found in the rooms should you need any assistance.
• For safety, we ask guests to follow flag warnings regarding Beach safety and to only swim with the lifeguard on-duty.
• Additional toiletries may be requested with no charge. However, loss of non-consumable items, such as towels, will be charged on the guest’s account.
• Guests’ vehicles will be given a gate pass per vehicle to ensure safety. Security must be informed if a guests’ vehicle will leave the resort grounds temporarily before check-out.

RESERVATIONS

AVAILABILITY

1. The management reserves the right to designate any unreserved rooms or event spaces as unavailable, even if not indicated on the official website or third-party booking platforms, without prior notice.
2. Walk-ins for rooms and day tours are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
1. In the event two (2) or more walk-in parties are attempting to book the same room(s) but the first party is incomplete— the booking is awarded to the next party if they themselves are complete, and so on.
3. All available rooms will be posted on the official C&J Sunset View Resort website to the best abilities of our IT personnel. Should a booked room not be available— the resort reserves the right to assess the situation with the client as they see fit. 

BOOKING & PAYMENT

1. Inquiring guests can contact our Front desk office online or via call to create a pencil booking (temporary reservation). Pencil bookings are held for 24 hours only. Once 24 hours have passed and no down payment is made, the date(s) will be opened up again without prior notice.
   
   
2. All bookings are typically done directly through our official website. For large bookings  exceeding 8 rooms or resort-wide reservations- kindly call our front desk staff to learn more on how to book. 
3. Reservation is confirmed only when the 50% down payment is received with proof-of-payment. Please email the proof of deposit (i.e. deposit slip) to booking@cjsunsetview.com as soon as possible.
   
   
4. Full payment must be paid upon check-in with a cash deposit that will be returned upon check-out. The resort accepts payments through (PHP) cash, GCASH, online banking, and bank deposit slip copy.
   
   
5. Any outstanding fees (e.g. time extension, in-room dining, restaurant bill, bar drinks) must be paid to the front desk office during check-out.
   
   
6. For event bookings, the remaining balance must be paid ahead of the event date(s). The resort reserves the right to delay the event on the event day if full payment has not been paid prior. Ask our Front desk staff for more details. 

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

1. Early check-ins are not allowed unless otherwise sanctioned by management. Guests can only enter the resort on their assigned check-in time.
1. Standard check-in time is at 2:00 pm unless otherwise stated. 
2. For check-ins between 6:00pm to 6:00am the following day, please note that only resort security will be able to assist guests to their room(s).
