Terms and Conditions
Waves Motel Terms and Conditions are set out for the safety and enjoyment of all guests staying. The person checking into the unit and/or signing the registration card acknowledges and agrees that these conditions apply and extend to any person occupying or visiting Waves Motel and/or using the facilities in the complex at the invitation of or with authority of the Guest. Guests agree to pay all charges incurred by them and their visitors during their stay including any fees or charges incurred as a result of a breach of the terms and conditions below.
Bookings: All bookings made in person or over the phone require a valid credit card number and expiry date to confirm the reservation. These details are held for security purposes on file and we do not charge until arrival or no show. Alternatively, we can accept a deposit, the terms of which will be specified by management.
Check-in is from 2pm on the day of arrival. Upon check-in a Drivers License/Passport and a valid credit card in the name of the reservation will be required for a pre-authorisation to cover all charges.
For early check-in/late check-out please make prior arrangements with management.
Cancellation: Cancellation of a reservation within 48 hours of the check-in date will result in charges equivalent to the first night’s accommodation, loss of deposit, or charges against the credit card number held on file.
As stated in Cancellation above, there will be charges against the room/rooms with unfulfilled bookings where there is no reinstatement of booking.
No Show: Guests that fail to arrive without any prior explanation to management will be treated as a “No Show” and as such may be liable for the full accommodation charge.
Car Park: Parking is Free. If car park is full - street parking is free. Waves Motel does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property.
Smoking: Strictly prohibited in all Waves Motel rooms and building. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas and if the smoking policy is breached, 2 nights’ full accommodation with the accumulated accommodation accounts, will be charged without reinstatement and the guest may have to arrange nother accommodation instantaneously.
Spa: Guests using spa units are welcome to use the spa facility in the rooms from 9:00am to 9:00pm; spa bath vibration noise may be unpleasant to the guests in other rooms.
Deposit Policy: No reservation will be secured without valid credit card details or deposit for the full room rate for the booking. The deposit must be received within 2 working days from the time the reservation was first made.
Final Payment: Final payment is required upon check-in except when prior arrangements have been made with management.
Unpaid accounts will be liable for any collection costs incurred by Waves Motel; and penalty interest of 1% for each day that the account remains overdue will be charged.
Payment Methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Unionpay. Payments made by cash and/or Eftpos must be made in advance and a deposit may be requested.
Additional Charges:
Dry-Cleaning bedspreads, duvets and valances: $50 per item
Extra care room cleaning surcharge: $80 per room
Carpet cleaning: $100 per room
Damage to rooms: cost of repair to new/replacement and loss of accommodation during repair/replacement
Breakages: cost of repair to new/replacement and loss of accommodation during repair/replacement
Missing chattels: cost of replacement and loss of accommodation until replaced
Lost property returns: arrangement required with management
