Property and Cancelation Policies :
Stones Throw requires a minimum of 30 days' notice to issue a full refund of the one night deposit required for our Rack Rate. A refund of the deposit minus a $25 cancellation fee will be issued with 14-29 days' notice. Reservations canceled with fewer than 14 days' notice are not eligible for refund. The PrePay rate is not eligible for refund and is not transferrable to another date.
Terms and Conditions
A deposit equal to one nights' stay is required and payable at time of booking to confirm all reservations. Reservations of 7 or more days will require a deposit equal to half of the entire stay. Stones Throw reservations must be guaranteed with a deposit. Credit card deposits (Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover) will be processed at the time the reservation is made. The PrePay rate requires payment in full at time of booking and is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
The balance of reservation costs is due and payable upon arrival. Reservation costs include applicable Maine taxes and Service Charges.
Rates and conditions are subject to change without prior notification. Rates exclusive of tax and gratuity. Minimum-night stays may be required. Management reserves the right to relocate guests to a comparable suite.
Must be over the age of 21 to reserve. A valid photo identification will be required upon check-in.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- 30+ days' notice in advance of a guest's stay - full refund of deposit
- Between 14-29 days' notice in advance of a guest's stay - full refund of deposit minus a $25 cancellation fee
- Less than 14 days' notice - the deposit is non-refundable
- Reservations booked through third party sites must be cancelled directly through the party in which you booked
- Room charges cannot be void upon check-in
- Pre-Pay Rate: Rate is prepaid and non-refundable. Full payment of room plus taxes are non-refundable and due at time of booking.
Because of our size and the seasonal nature of our business, cancellations affect us significantly. Room charges cannot be void after check-in. We cannot take responsibility for changes to reservations due to inclement weather, unforeseen changes to travel plans, personal sickness or injury, or family emergencies. No refund is provided for late arrivals, early departures, no-shows or weather-related cancellations.
Check-in is after 3:00 p.m.
*Please contact us prior to your arrival date if you expect to check-in after the Front Desk has closed. Early check-ins may sometimes be arranged but can never be guaranteed.
Check-out is prior to 11:00 a.m.
*Late check-outs may sometimes be arranged but can never be guaranteed. If arranged, a guest may check out as late as 1:00 p.m., but no later than 1:00 p.m. Late Check-Out Fee after 1:00 p.m. of 50% room rate will be charged to the credit card on file.
We offer one complimentary parking space per reservation. Due to the limited space additional vehicles and oversized vehicles may not be able to be accommodated. For further information please contact the Front Desk. Vehicles not displaying a parking pass are subject to removal.
Due to our limited parking, cars MUST be moved at the time of check-out.
Standard occupancy is based on two guests. The term "guests" includes children of all ages, regardless of actual sleeping arrangements. Our Double Queen rooms may accommodate an additional two guests for a fee. Cots, sleeping bags and air mattresses are not permitted.
For the comfort and convenience of all our guests, outside visitors are not permitted. Please be mindful of neighboring guests. Stones Throw encourages all of its guests to relax and make themselves at home, however all guests should be respectful of each other and be aware of their volume 8 p.m. to 9 a.m.
Stones Throw is pleased to offer a smoke-free environment. There is no smoking on the decks, porches, patios, in the suites, or anywhere except the designated area. This includes, but is not limited to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, illegal substances, vapes, or vape pens. There will be a $500 fee assessed for smoking in the suites, on the decks and patios, or anywhere on the grounds.
For the convenience and comfort of all our guests, we do not allow pets inside or on the hotel property. Our Front Desk staff will be happy to assist you in making alternative arrangements for your pets. There will be a $500 minimum fee assessed for any pets on the property, and/or removal from the property.
Guests will be responsible for any damage or excessive cleaning beyond the standard requirement caused to the Hotel room or any furnishings, fittings and equipment therein by any act or omission of the Guest, his/her invitees, subcontractors or guests. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, Stones Throw reserves the right to make a charge to the Guest's credit or debit card.
Stones Throw reserves the right to charge Guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the Hotel by them without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item.
Stones Throw reserves the right to take action against any Guest found to have tampered/interfered with any fire detection equipment through out the hotel, including detector heads in public areas and bedrooms, break glass points and fire extinguishers. Guests found to have tampered with any fire detection or firefighting equipment will be charged with any costs incurred by the Hotel due to their actions and additionally may be asked to leave the Hotel. Should the fact that fire fighting or detection equipment had been tampered with come to light after the guest has departed, Stones Throw reserves the right to make a charge to the Guest's credit or debit card.
