Property Information

Hotel Turkey was founded in 1927 and served as accommodations for the growing town and the railroad that ran through town. In continuous operation since then, Pat and Tina purchased the hotel in 2015 and began to breath new life into the hotel with thoughtful renovations and outstanding hospitality. In 2021, we added 5 shipping containers to our property. So stay in the historic Hotel, or in a private bungalo out back! With a robust restaurant and live music every Friday and Saturday nights, the Hotel is the hub of the High Plains for making memories. We are so glad you are here and hope that you will fall in love with our little town and of course, #staylonger.

Late check-out (after 11:00 AM and before 1:00 PM) may result in a fee.

Property and Cancelation Policies :

Please carefully read our cancellation policy. Rarely can we make any exceptions to this. Our receptionists are instructed to follow this policy and rules. So to save any misunderstanding we would be grateful if you can observe the following:

A $50 deposit may be charged upon booking.
We offer a 100% refund if canceled 14 days prior to your check-in date.
Cancellations made up to 7 days prior to your stay may be not be refunded the $50 deposit.
Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will be charged 100% of the booking amount.
If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent will only be refunded if we are able to re-book.
In case of a “no-show”, the total price of the reservation will be charged and is non- refundable.
All cancellations are confirmed via email immediately after the reservation has been cancelled.
For Full property bookings, special events, holidays and Bob Wills Day bookings we require a sixty (60) day cancellation notice.

Hotel Turkey & TX Hotel Turkey Bed & Breakfast is a historic property located in Turkey, Texas, where every guest is both important and special to us. Please read through our policies below.

TABC laws restrict guests from bringing alcohol into hotel public areas. Alcoholic beverages consumed in hotel public areas must be purchased through the Hotel Turkey.

Bookings may charge a $50 deposit at the time of booking. Reservations for special events or peak booking times may be charged in full 7 days prior to your arrival or at the time of booking if within the 7 days.

Rates

Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests.
The standard booking price includes the following:

All taxes (city 8% & state 6%)
All hotel amenities and facilities as mentioned on our website pages and in our correspondence

Breakfast

Some rates include breakfast for 2 guests. Extra guests or extra items will incur an additional charge.

Housekeeping Services

Housekeeping services available for multiple night bookings upon REQUEST ONLY.

Minimum Stay

Minimum stay required during peak periods.

Check-in: 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. If arriving outside of check-in times, please note that we may leave a self check-in packet on the front desk!

Extending Your Stay
After you have booked your stay with us, you can extend your stay (depending on availability) by simply letting us know before you arrive.
If you are already staying with us and you would like to stay longer, please inquire at the front desk. We will do our best to accommodate your new plans and this can include relocating you to a similar room should this be necessary. Remember, we are usually completely booked on Fridays & Saturdays, so please consider this when booking! A fee may be added to your room for a late check out.

Smoking

SMOKING IN ROOMS IS NOT PERMITTED AND VIOLATORS WILL BE CHARGED A FLAT CLEANING OF $375 AND WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RETURN TO HT

Pets

Are we pet friendly? You bet! A maximum of two pets are allowed per room, for $30/stay. Just make sure your furry friends do their business in the designated area and stay on a leash when outside the room. No rogue poppers and, sorry … no pets in the lobby or restaurant areas (that’s the health department’s call and we’ve gotta heed their rules). Pets cannot be left unattended in rooms at any time.

Should your furry friend shed a great amount or have a potty accident in the room, a cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card on file in the amount of $100. Should your pet cause property or item damage, an incidental fee will be charged at market value to your credit card on file. No cats or venomous creatures.

Children are always welcome!

Parking

Parking is available in several places near the Hotel. We have parking beside and across the street as well as other designated areas. Please let us know if you are parking more than just a vehicle. The hotel does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property. However, Turkey is a very safe area and we rarely have anyone bother others!
