No mean feat considering the building itself was established in 1777 as an infirmary on a site that was acquired by the Duke of Leinster. Once the sale was completed, Kelly immediately set to work bringing the 18th century building back to life. It is now once again the beating heart of Kildare Town and is popular with locals and visitors alike.

Property and Cancelation Policies :
Non – Refundable Cancellation Policy: The total price of the reservation may be charged at the time of booking. All packages, Special offers & advanced purchase will be charged at time of booking.
Please note: if cancelled, modified or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. On the day of arrival bedrooms will be available from 4pm onwards. Check in is until 10pm strictly. Check out time is 11:30am the day of departure. Early check in from 1pm" for €25 charge and an "Late check out up to 2.30pm. Please be advised all cards will be processed 48 hours before arrival. We do not accept cash. Incase of a no show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

The hotel assumes no responsibility for loss of money or other valuables. Please be aware that contents left in guest rooms and vehicles are not the responsibility of the hotel. The guest agrees personal liability for the bill and will be held responsible in the event that the indicated person, company or association fails to pay for any part of the charges incurred by the guest. Please note that it is hotel policy to take pre-authorization for any incremental charges and damages.
The Kildare House Hotel Ltd operate a strict no smoking policy. Guests shall be liable for any so costs, loss of earning and/or profit or damage to a hotel room, premises or property, arising from failure to comply with this policy and the hotel reserves the right to charge a specialist cleaning fee to any guest who violates the non-smoking policy.
· The guest registration is required by law, over the age of 18 years.
· Please be aware that Kildare House Hotel Ltd requires, upon check-in, a method of payment to guarantee all charges. A credit card authorization will be taken from the credit card on the equivalent amount of your entire stay. If one is not available, then the hotel requires full payment on check-in. If a guest is unable to provide a method of payment the hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking until an acceptable method of payment is received.
· An extra charge of €30 will be automatically debited from the card provided if the check-out time of 12pm is exceeded.
