Casitas Eclecticas is a project of passion built by its owners, Rene and Octavia. Starting from a bare piece of land purchased in the late 90’s, the project started in early 2013 with a retaining wall, some trees and our first pool. The space has now grown into 8 different units, all unique in design and function, woven together by pathways, stairwells, terraces and a plant oasis. Away from the bustle of downtown, while still in proximity to walk anywhere, the Casitas are a place to feel the mix of comfort and adventure, and be immersed in the outdoors. A 10 minute walk to the main beach and plaza of Sayulita, the Casitas are an easy access to small grocery stores, a tortilla factory, flower stores and coffee shops. The property itself has several different entrances for guests, so even though its a shared space, guests have lots of privacy. The two shared pool areas and rooftop terrace are refreshing, breezy places to relax and enjoy and meet friends. The game room with the pool table is available for day use and the fuzzball table is fun for an action packed rivalry. While the property is nestled amongst the neighborhoods of the South side of Sayulita, it is generally quiet. It should be mentioned that in the spirit of Mexico, neighbors might have a party that we are not aware of and therefore unexpected noise can occur. Also, do be aware that roosters and dogs are a common background noise too. For exceptionally light sleepers, please do bring your own earplugs.

Dear guests, it is our wish and our special concern to provide you a perfect vacation experience so that you should feel at home in our Casitas Eclecticas We, therefore, kindly ask you to read carefully the following lines of our General Terms and Condition.
Prices and Taxes
Prices are as listed in the currency requested by guest and will be charged according to our listed rates, including taxes and local fees. Base rate price will be charged, as well as a 16% Mexican IVA tax and a 5% Nayarit State lodging tax.
Payment and Terms at Check in/Check out
A reservation will be confirmed when the Guest pays the 50% of the rental price. Upon check in the remainder of the payment will be made to the Host in cash, PayPal or credit card. The remainder of payment must be made in the first 12 hours of stay.
Check-in is a self check in. Ample arrival instructions will be provided, and key to unit will be in the door. Host will be available for calls in case of any confusion.
Upon check out, if any damage is encountered such as broken items, stained sheets or bedspreads, or any damage to the property, the renter will be held responsible and must pay for said damage. The property should be lett in the same condition as it was found. Any breakage or damage must be immediately reported to Host.
Check in time is 3 pm or later, Check out time is 12 pm or earlier. Due to cleaning and receiving other guests, these times must be adhered to unless otherwise discussed with Host.
Cancellation:

Traveling with Children:
Renter must advise Host that they will be traveling with children. Several of our units are not suitable for children under a certain age for safety issues.
Traveling with Pets:
Pets are not allowed on property, unless otherwise approved by Host.
Occupancy:
Only registered guests may stay on the property and only the number indicated in each rental. If outside guests are found onsite, the Host may have the right to ask them to leave. If they do not comply within 12 hours, the Host has the right to terminate the rental and guests must vacate property with no refund.
Accessibility or Special needs:
Due to the nature of the property, with uneven stone stairs steep stairways and uphill climbs, we cannot make any accommodations for those with special needs or accessibility issues.
Parking:
Street parking is available upon space and all parking is subject to renters responsibility. Owner takes no responsibility for any damage or vandalism that occurs to cars parked on the street.
Cleaning:
General cleaning of the rental will occur every 3 days of the rental stay. Sheets and towels will be changed every week, or before if requested by Guest.
Any stains or damage to sheets, bedspread or blankets will be paid for by Guest. Most stains can be removed if notified of immediately.
Malfunction in Property
Any malfunction of equipment such as refrigerator or stove will be taken care of as soon as possible.
Electricity outages are common in Sayulita, especially during summer months, but usually returns within a 12 hour period. Any outage of electricity are out of our control and unless it persists for more than 24 hours, we will not refund any guest stay.
Water shortages are common in Sayulita. If water runs out, please notify us immediately and we will do our best to resupply tanks. After a 24 hour period with no water, we will consider compensation.
Events:
All parties and gatherings of people, except for those staying on the property as registered guests, are prohibited.
Noise:
Noise will be kept to a minimum between the hours of 10 pm- 7 am in order to be courteous to other guests and neighbors. This is especially important in the common areas and the swimming pool. In the spirit of Mexico, neighbors might have unexpected celebrations and their noise level is out of our control. As Hosts, we will do our best to give any advance warning to renters of upcoming events or parties in the neighborhood.
Swimming Pool:
Use of the swimming pool is at the risk of the guest. It is understood that there are no lifeguards or supervision on property at any point. If children are on property, they are under complete supervision by an adult.Parents are responsible for their own children.
Liability:
Theft: Guest is responsible for locking up windows and doors to their rental unit any time they vacate the space, even to use the common area. Host will not be responsible for items.
Alcohol/Drug Use: Host is not responsible for any bodily injury that occurs if a guest is under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
These Casitas are privately owned. Hosts are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises.
Force Majeure:
Casitas Eclecticas shall not be liable for any delay or failure to fulfill any obligation under these Payments Terms resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, epidemics or disease, strikes or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor or materials It is highly recommended that guest takes out Travel Insurance to cover any/all of expenses.
RATE CHECK
