Thank you for choosing Similkameen Wild Resort Hotel & Winery Retreat. We are an active Agri-Tourism business, we are gated to protect our crop from the wildlife that is all around our property, in the “WILD”. Please respect both the wildlife and the farm activities. We try to keep our farming as natural as possible at times that will be the least intrusive for our guests. Please read our Policies below, should you have any questions or concerns, please contact us and we will get back to you. We love kids, but during Mid and High season, Similkameen WILD is an adult only resort with the exception of a Full Estate Booking. For booking during Low season please inquire if you wish to stay with children. similkameenwild@icloud.com GATES AND PARKINGOur gates are to remain closed at all times. You are welcome to come and go as often as you like and you are welcome to park along Sumac Road any time. CHECK-IN/OUT In person check-in time is 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm or prearrange a time with management. We would appreciate an ETA, if possible. Check-out 11:00 am. Additional fees may apply for guests who do not comply. We aim to be the pinnacle of what it means to be a conscious accommodation provider. As such an Environmental Sustainability Tax of 3% is added to the room rate to help fund local conservation efforts. ROOMS Each room is fitted with one bed (King or Queen). We do not offer cots or extra beds. Maximum two (2) adults per room. Our King and Queen suites and King Teepee are fitted with ecological heating and cooling units. Our BnB Rooms are equipped with heaters and fans. PARKING There is free parking on Sumac Road or secure gated parking on premises for $15 per day per vehicle. Similkameen Wild is not liable for any damage incurred to vehicles whilst on property. PETS Pets love Similkameen Wild and can run to their heart’s content in our forest, meadow, and river areas! Pets must be On Leash at all times within the resort area. Pets are not to be left unattended in rooms, no Pets sleep on beds, and Pets are NOT allowed in the pool. Failure to comply with these rules may result in additional $500 fee. Pet Stay fee is $30 per night. Maximum 2 small dogs or 1 medium or 1 large dog per room. Limited pet friendly rooms. FULL ESTATE BOOKINGSPrivate groups will be expected to be Self Catered during their stay. Staff will be on-site to answer any questions and help guests to a reasonable extent. We do not offer bar service, cleaning, or activities during their stay. No guests may sleep in the Sagebrush Studio.We require a damage deposit of $2000 held upon arrival by a credit card. Your deposit will be refunded in full, subject to favorable inspection of the property. Our standard minimum night stay for full estate bookings is 2 nights, requiring a booking of 2 consecutive nights. Some holidays and special events may be subject to longer minimums. CATERING Similkameen Wild does not host a restaurant, offering you the freedom to self cater or book local catering services. Please request our list of providers for local farm fresh options. SHARED SPACESKitchen: use of the large indoor and outdoor kitchen is between 11:00 am and 8:00 pm. Guests are responsible to clean the dishes and space after use. This includes washing drying and placing dishes in a clean bin to be put away by staff. If not respected an extra fee of $100 per day will be added to your room charge.Wood Fired Pizza Oven: please organize your pizza experience with management 5 days in advance. Not to be used by guests alone! Propane Barbeque: available any timeFire Pits: available any time please arrange with staff for firewoodTiki Bar: Self-serve bar - we do not offer any beverage services.Pool deck: please no running and no glass and respect other guests.Dining Room: coffee and tea are available to guests any time, continental breakfast is served in High Season.Sagebrush Yoga Studio: accessible to guests for Yoga and meditation purposes. POOL, HOT TUB, Our pool is seasonal and heated from May to October and our Hot Tub is open year-round. Pool 9 am until dusk. Guests are asked to pre-shower before use of the hot tub or pool. Upon the discretion of Similkameen Wild, regular hot tub maintenance may occur during your stay. MOBILE SAUNA & COLD PLUNGEMobile Sauna and Cold Plunge are available upon request for a $50 fee and need to be arranged 5 days prior to your dates. OUTDOOR POLICIES Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm until 9:00 am. Guests who disturb other guests may be asked to leave and will not be provided any refund. Similkameen WILD reserves the right to ask guests to lower or turn off music at any time, exceptions may be made at the discretion of staff for special events and full estate bookings.Smoking of tobacco and cannabis products is permitted at both outside fire pit locations only, No smoking in rooms, on balconies or patios spaces.Drinking is allowed on premises within reason. For safety, no glass bottles or wine glasses are allowed in, or around pool and hot tub areas. WE DO NOT ALLOW ADDITIONAL DAY GUESTS Our resort is designed to accommodate our guest and NOT guest to host gatherings. We do offer Wedding and group Packages should you wish to entertain other guests please inquire. We try to not have too many rules, and we thank you for reading our policies.
