Casa Amarilla is a luxurious beachfront house located in Esterillos Centro on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, with over 10 miles of beach to walk, run, bike, surf, boogie board, fish or just lay in the hammock under the palm trees and enjoy the waves, the colorful sunrise and sunset, the parrots, squirrels, iguanas and even monkeys.
The house, an ideal vacation rental by owner (VRBO), has 2 fully equipped apartments available for rent which are only a few steps away from the swimming pool with a nice gazebo overlooking the beach, a seating area ideal for reconnecting with family or friends over a snack and a drink while sun tanning, planning your outdoor activities, reading or just taking a peaceful nap.
And as you move out of the house you literally move into the beach which during high tide is great for both, surfing and body surfing or to take the buggie board and ride those waves, while during the low tide (tide changes every 6 hours), it is ideal for just laying on the beach enjoy the scenery and letting the soft waves caress your body with water about 80 degrees warm all year round.
Within minutes of distance you have a small but well assorted supermarket, several restaurants with international and local cuisine, and if you like to get to know a little bit more of Costa Rica, there are many tours and/or activities, which include but are not limited to: canopy, nature hikes & sightseeing, ATV, waterfalls, casino, golf at Los Sueños Resort, fishing, scuba diving, a visit to the volcano, or if you prefer, you can drive to Playa Hermosa or to Jaco Beach which is less than 20 minutes away and enjoy the shopping, the restaurants, night live activities and much more, or go for the day to Manuel Antonio National Park about 45 minutes drive and enjoy the mountain, beach and wild life all placed together as it would be magic.
Casa Amarilla is less than two hours away from the main city San Jose and from the Juan Santa Maria International Airport.

Property and Cancelation Policies :
- Your reservation is guaranteed unti the day of arrival. After that time, it will no longer be guaranteed and the apartment may be reasigned.
- Casa Amarilla has the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the pre-payment deposit.
- Guest can cancel the reservation free of charge until 4 weeks before arrival. The guest will be charged 50% of total price if they cancel within the 4 weeks of arrival.
- Guest will have to deposit in cash or bank transfer 50% of total price after making the reservation.
- No fees charged for bookings cancelled within 24 hours of booking.
- No fees charged for bookings cancelled more than 4 weeks of arrival.
Terms and Conditions
- Check-in is after 2:00 PM. (Early check-in is possible subject to availability)
- Check-out is before 11:00 AM. (Late check-out is possible subject to availability)
- Guest must provide proper ID or passport, phone and address at check-in.
- Guest payment of balance amount in cash or bank transfer is required at check-in
- Guest collects apartment keys at check-in.
- Bed linens and towels should be left in the apatment as well as all the utensils, glasses and dishes
- Casa Amarilla is a non-smoking property. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes, epipes, and any variations of the forgoing regardless of the product's name.
- Immediate termination of rental agreement without refund is possible if:
- More guest stay at the apartment or property than agreed without prior authorization.
- Subletting the apartment rented
- Excessive noise is made during quiet hours (10:00 PM to 8:00 AM)
- Casa Amarilla doesn't allow pets of any kind.
- Washing machine is available at an additional cost per wash.
- Apartment cleaning for longer stay is available at an additional cost
- Extending your stay? After you have booked your stay with us, you can extend your stay (depending on availability) by simply letting us know. We will do our best to accomodate your new plans and this can include relocating from apartment.
- Please practice save cooking habits, do not have burners on unattended.
- No glass or bottles allowed by the pool area, each apartment has plastic glasses available.
- If you are not in the room, lets protect our environment by turning off the air conditioning and lights.
- Let's close the door of the apartment to prevent the entry of crabs, toads and / or lizards.
- Parking is available. Casa Amarilla does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property.
- Firearms are strictly prohibited at Casa Amarilla.
