All room rates are subject to the local tax rate for lodging of 15.125% along with a 1% processing fee.
Upon check-in an authorization is processed on the primary method of payment for up to the first seven nights' room and tax plus a percentage for incidental charges. If the stay is longer than seven nights, this process is repeated for all subsequent stay segments.
The primary reservation holder must be at least 21 years of age and must accompany all individuals who are younger than this during their stay.
The Berkman complies with ADA requirements and has a variety of options to accommodate individuals who seek specific features. Call the property for further information and offerings.
There is an underground, secure ramp that is available to all guests at $20/night up to a maximum of $400/month. The Berkman is not responsible for any damage or theft of personal property.

The Berkman will never disseminate personal information gathered by its' staff for any reason. This is gathered specifically for hotel operation(s).
The guest or their agents shall compensate the hotel for damages caused through intention or negligence on the part of the guest.
The Berkman reserves the right to enter all guest rooms at any time per our discretion.
Smoking is prohibited by the law all the times in the hotel. In the event of smoke hazards including a sticky odor due to smoking or smoking electronic cigarettes, irrespective of whether smoking intentionally or negligently, the guest or his/her agents shall be responsible for actual cost for removing odor ($500) and incurred loss for the number of unavailable days. (Room rate paid for each night it cannot be sold).
A credit card with a name matching that of the primary name on your reservation must be presented at check-in. If this will not be the case, contact the property to arrange for a credit card authorization form to be sent.
Neither Party will be liable for any failure or delay in performing an obligation under this Agreement that is due to any of the following causes, to the extent beyond its reasonable control: acts of God, accident, riots, war, terrorist act, epidemic, pandemic (including the COVID-19 pandemic), quarantine, civil commotion, breakdown of communication facilities, breakdown of web host, breakdown of internet service provider, natural catastrophes, governmental acts or omissions, changes in laws or regulations, national strikes, fire, explosion, or generalized lack of availability of raw materials or energy.For the avoidance of doubt, Force Majeure shall not include (a) financial distress nor the inability of either party to make a profit or avoid a financial loss, (b) changes in market prices or conditions, or (c) a party's financial inability to perform its obligations hereunder.
