Both our properties are located on the lovely south coast of Barbados which you will find very interesting if you are on Business or Pleasure. Nautilus Ocean Suites is a true retreat to paradise. The suites accommodations combine captivating views of the famous Carlisle Bay Beach, which is located approximately 1km outside of our Capital Bridgetown. Carlisle Beach is home to many shipwrecks and coral reefs within swimming distance. We also have the adventure of feeding the turtles, snorkeling, and enjoying the many water sports activities available in the area. Located in close proximately is our Barbados Museum, Garrison Savannah, which is home to our Famous GOLD CUP Horse race. To the North is Government Headquarters and Prime Minister’s office, further north is our Very Famous Kensington Oval the home to Cricket Lovers. Which are our most played Sports in Barbados. Just a few kms to the south is St. Lawrence Gap, our night Life spot for any evening and into the early mornings. Further south is Oistins Fish Festival, where locals and tourist meet on Friday nights to enjoy our local cuisine and enjoy many live local entertainers.
Our sister property Maxwell Del Mar is strategically located between the airport, Bridgetown our capital city and the buzzing Sheraton Mall. For your evening pleasure our famous St. Lawrence Gap & the fishing town of Oistins are both a 5 minute drive away, easily accessible by Taxi or bus service. Both properties are great locations for business & Vacation with Nautilus Ocean Suites directly on the Beach while Maxwell Del Mar is 5-7 minutes’ walk to the white sandy Maxwell Beach.

· Free cancellation within 14 days ofarrival date, the total amount of the reservation will be refunded, lessservice charge and bank charges.
· Cancellations occurring less than 14 days from the arrival dates will be charged 25% of the reservation.
· No-Show bookings will incur a charge of 50% of the reservation.
· Any cancellations of reservations booked for the period December 31st to January 3 will incur a charge of 50% of the reservation.
Terms and Conditions
Reservations are guaranteed until the date/time of check in. After that date, it will no longer be guaranteed, We will charge the credit card provided within 1 day of confirming your reservation.
The hotel has the right to cancel your reservation if we cannot process the Pre-Payment Deposit. We will send you a cancellation confirmation via email immediately after cancelling your booking.
Payment & Deposit
Online and direct reservations made four or more days in advance will require a Deposit of 30%, the balance of the reservation charge will be processed on arrival.
Online and direct reservations made less than four days in advance will be charged for the full length of the stay at the time of booking. Full payment must be taken at the time of check in.
Check In / Check out
Check-in is 3PM local time. The balance of the full amount reservation is payable on arrival at check-in time. Please note that check-in cannot be completed until full payment and security deposit pre-authorization(USD 300) for the room has been received and approved. A room key isprovided at check-in time after the full room amount has been settled. The costof any keys/keycard needing replacement will be taken from thedeposit. Our front desk will provide you with any information tomake your stay enjoyable. Please inquire if you need information on the locationof near-by shops, good places where you can eat, sights you may like to see,places to go at night, etc.
Check Out: You can check-out any time up until 12PM local time. Later check-out times may be requested although we may not always be able to accommodate late changes and will depend on availability. Please note that there is an additional charge for late check-outs & early check ins.
At check-out time please bring keys/keycard to the receptionist, you will be informed of any additional charges incurred during your stay and payment for those charges will be processed at that time. Please note that a detailed inspection of the room is usually made after the check-out time and we reserve the right to make charges for any missing items, damages or breakages found before the room is occupied again.
The security deposit should be released by your credit card issuing bank automatically in 3 workdays, but sometimes this hold can remain for a 15-21 day period. The security deposit/pre-authorization is not held by Maxwell Del Mar and we do NOT charge your credit card. Please be aware that bed linen and towels should be placed where they were originally found. The bed linen and towels are NOT gifts and should remain in the room.
Maxwell Del Mar is a non-smoking property. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes ore-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a USD 300 room cleaning fee.
Room refreshes will not be offered during stays of 3 days and under. Should you need fresh towels or linen, please call the front desk.
As part of our commitment to guest safety, employees will not disclose the identity, room number or presence of a guest to anyone other than appropriate law enforcement. This includes the taking of or delivery of messages or indirect forwarding of phone calls. It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and room number to any person they wish to receive calls or visits from. Safety cameras are used throughout the premises, and anyone on our property may be recorded. The hotel assumes no responsibility for any personal bodily injury incurred while using the pool facilities, you do so at your own risk, no life guard is on duty. At our sister hotel Nautilus Ocean Suites where we are located on the Beach. You will be swimming at your own risk. We do not provide any safety equipment, no life guard is on duty.
For the safety of our guest security is provided in the evenings. All rooms are equipped with a safe, guests are advised to lock away any valuables or important documents. Unfortunately, our guest services do not facilitate providing security for these items.
Guest parking in front of the hotel is only permitted on check-in and check-out, at all other times guest are required to utilize the Maxwell Parking Lot located 500 yards up Maxwell Coast Road. By parking a vehicle at our facility, you (and your guests) are doing so on your own accord. The hotel does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property.
EXTENDING YOUR STAY
After you have booked your stay with us, you can extend your stay (depending on availability) by simply letting us know before you arrive.
If you are already staying with us and you would like to extend your stay, please let us know at least 24 hours before your check- out date. We will do our best to accommodate your new plans and this can include relocating you to a similar room should this be necessary. You can also be relocated to our sister hotel Nautilus Ocean Suites.
