Stanford House Policies
All rooms rates are based on double occupancy per room and are subject to change without notice. The charge is an additional $20 per person, per night beyond two in the room.
– Check-in is from 4:00 pm. We will do our best to accommodate early check-in pending availability.
– Check-out time is normally 11:00 am. A late check-out may be pre-arranged, subject to availability, for a $100 fee.
– Please call to discuss extended stays.
– Minimum night stays may be required during peak and holiday times.
– All hotel rooms are non-smoking . Noncompliance will result in a $250 surcharge.

Cancellation Policy
Full Charge or Full Deposit If canceled within 3 days of arrival
During the peak season and Vermont Summer Festival it is a 7 day prior to arrival.
Minimum charge for any reservation $50 must be 10 days out.
Prepayment
The guest will be charged a prepayment of the first night or %50 of the total price after reservation and the remaining amount in the 10 days before arrival.
Children and Extra Bed Policy
All children are welcome based off of the occupancy of the room.
Parking
Free public parking is available on site (reservation for parking is not needed).

Can we check-in before/after 4pm?
We cannot promise you a room before check-in, but we will happily let you drop luggage off and leave it in the restaurant closet if needed.
After 4 pm please call ahead if you will be arriving after 10pm we will run your credit card and leave your key accessible to you.
Q) Can I have guests over?
Guests are welcome to visit anytime during the day. However, please let us know beforehand if you intend to have overnight guests. For safety reasons, we’d like a full name and will snap an image of their ID. All rooms are based on double occupancy in order to offer the most affordable rate for our guests. You will incur an expense for additional guests. We do apologize in advance but extra towels, toilet paper, etc…. it all costs extra money.
Q) Does the room have its own bathroom?
All rooms have private bathrooms.
Q) Can we send mail to the motel?
Mail at your own risk. We can’t guarantee they will be received on delivery. If no one is home, some companies drop the boxes and we do not guarantee receipt. Other companies will try again another day. It is your choice if you should ship the package.
Pet Policy
We welcome well-behaved pets at Stanford House and want to ensure a comfortable stay for all our guests. Please review the following pet policy to ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit for everyone.
1. Pet-Friendly Rooms:
Only certain rooms are designated as pet-friendly. Please notify us in advance if you are traveling with a pet to ensure availability.
2. Pet Fee:
A non-refundable pet fee of $50 per pet, per stay, will be charged If the pet is bigger then 45 pounds. This fee helps us ensure the room is thoroughly cleaned after each stay.
3. Pet Size and Weight Limit:
Pets weighing up to 45 pounds are welcome. Larger pets may be considered upon request with an extra fee.
4. Number of Pets:
A maximum of one pet are allowed per room. Please contact us if you plan to bring more than one pet.
5. Pet Behavior:
Pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier when outside the room.
Pets must be well-behaved, non-aggressive, and under control at all times based off of the property managers view.
Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Please use designated pet waste areas.
6. Noise Considerations:
To ensure a peaceful stay for all guests, please prevent your pet from disturbing others. Excessive barking or noise may result in a request to remove the pet from the premises.
7. Pet Supervision:
Pets should not be left unattended in the room for extended periods. If you need to leave your pet alone, please ensure they are in a crate or carrier and notify the property manager.
8. Damages:
Pet owners are responsible for any damage caused by their pets to the motel property. Additional cleaning fees may apply.
9. Health and Vaccination Requirements:
Pets must be up-to-date on all vaccinations and in good health. Please provide proof of vaccination upon request.
10. Prohibited Pets:
For the safety and comfort of our guests, certain breeds and exotic pets may not be permitted.
11. Check-out and Cleaning:
Upon check-out, please ensure that any pet waste or belongings are removed from the room. A deep cleaning fee may be charged if additional cleaning is required due to pet-related issues.
12. Service Animals:
Service animals are always welcome and are exempt from the pet fee.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
For your convenience, we have provided our motel policies for your review while planning your stay at the Stanford House
Payment: Payment of your balance is due upon check-in. We accept VISA, Master Card, and Discover. Cash is also welcomed. Current Vermont and Town taxes apply and are subject to change.
Minimum Stays: Minimum stays may be required during peak periods. We have a two-night minimum stay on most summer weekends and holidays.
Additional Charges: All rooms are quoted at double occupancy rate in order to provide you with the best rate, for an extra person you will be charged $20 per night per person, which is to cover the cost of linens. Cots can be set up. You will be held responsible for any damages to our property beyond those incurred with normal use. If smoking cigarettes or marijuana is suspected, you will be charged $250 for the cleaning of all upholstery, carpeting, and draperies. Groups reserving five or more rooms or guests reserving for more than four nights will be subject to a $2.00 per room per night gratuity.
