Late check out (after 11:00 AM and before 1:00 PM) may result in a fee.
Property and Cancellation Policies :
Native has a 48-hour cancellation policy. Guests who do cancel within 48 hours of their check-in time will be charged for the first night of their stay plus 20% of their remaining nights, and the remainder of their reservation will be cancelled. Upon check-in, there are no refunds. Once your reservation enters 2-day window, your card will be authorized for the full amount of your reservation, which will be charged at check in. If you cancel two days or more before your arrival, you will not be charged for any portion of your cancelled stay.
Groups of 4 or more and full room rentals have a five-day cancellation policy. Reservations cancelled within 5 days of the reservation will be charged the first night of their stay plus 50% of the remaining nights. Unless another contract is effective, reservations cancelled 5 or more days in advance will be relieved of financial responsibility.
Reservations over 15 guests & full buyouts require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The remaining 50% will be collected 30 days prior to arrival, any changes to the booking will need to be made by the 30 day mark.
Terms and Conditions
21+ : Overnight guests must be 21+. If traveling in a group, identification and a registration form will be required from each traveler at check in. No kids allowed overnight.

Check in begins at 3pm. If you arrive in Austin earlier, we will be happy to hold onto your luggage while you grab a beer at our bar or head out for your first Austin adventure.
Check out is at 11am. We ask that all guests be out of their rooms (with their belongings!) before 11am in order to prepare the room for our next round of adventure-seekers! Please return key card to desk and leave linens on your bed. If your items are not found on your bed, charges (blanket: $52, towel: $12) may be incurred.
Quiet Hours are between 10pm and 8am in rooms and communal hostel spaces. We want you to enjoy yourself, but please be respectful of other guests’ experiences at the Native.
14 days is the maximum length of stay. Requests for longer stays will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Groups over 15 guests may be subject to group fees. Please contact email@example.com for details.
No pets allowed.
We permit 1 guest max per twin dorm bed and 2 guests max per King Suite.
At time of reservation, credit card is verified. The full cost of the reservation is authorized two days prior to check in, and is charged at check in. A valid driver’s license or passport must be present upon check in. Cash is accepted, but a credit card must be presented and held on file in the event of any incidentals. The hostel reserves the right to refuse any patron at any time for any reason. No refunds are issued for shortening stays, and if a guest is asked to leave the property, the remainder of their reservation will not be refunded.
Damage to or Loss of Property
Guests are responsible for damage or loss they cause to the property. To avoid charges, please return your key card to the front desk and leave your blanket and towel on your bed before your departure. If additional cleaning is necessary or items are not found, charges to cover the cost (blanket: $52, towel: $12, key card:$3, more) may be incurred. All damaged property will be assessed and charged to parties responsible. Native does not assume responsibility for any guest's belongings before, during, and after your stay.
Parking in our lot is available for Native patrons and guests on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage biking (we can help you rent!), walking, our bus system, or ride shares for getting around. Public street parking is also available nearby. Please be mindful of residential, limited hours, and "No Parking" signage.
Sheets, pillow, and blanket on a pre-made bed, and a towel are provided to each guest. Long stays will receive a sheet change mid-way through their visit. Housekeeping is provided daily.
Before you visit, there are a few things to point out:
Be decent. Native is a safe and comfortable space for travelers and local Austinites alike. Please add to our culture of inclusion and decency.
We take the safety of our guests and their belongings seriously. We will handle theft and illegal behaviors by calling the police and removing the offender from our property, without refund. If you see anything alarming, please alert our hostel staff immediately.
No non-registered guests in guest-only areas. We offer lots of public space for meeting up with old friends & connecting to new ones – don’t bring any guests into keyed-access areas.
Be clean. Please take appropriate care of your personal hygiene and physical space, as you will be sharing your experience at the Native with lots of other folks.
No food or drink in bedrooms. There are plenty of public spaces for eating and drinking, as well as a kitchen for storing snacks while you aren’t enjoying them. Out of respect for your fellow travelers, and to keep pests at bay, please don’t eat or drink in your room. The communal refrigerator will be regularly cleaned out, so please label your items with name and check out date when you put them in the fridge.
