You will receive your check in information via text message with your caravan and key location on your arrival day at 2:00pm. If you have booked through a third-party (Expedia, Booking.com, Airbnb) please contact us to make sure we have your direct email and mobile phone information.

Caravan Outpost is a no-host hotel, where you check in and out of your room on your own. There is no host onsite - however, you can always reach us at 805-836-4891.

You will be responsible for checking in and out of your Caravan; as well as leaving your key in the blue key dropbox when you check out, located in the hallway near our restrooms. Should you require any assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us at 805-836-4891 between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm. After that time, please contact our after hours line at 805-836-9073

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with these important details: 

Accommodations and Amenities: Each caravan includes a private shower and bathroom with towels, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hand sanitizer. To request additional towels, please text 805-836-4891 before 3:00pm each day. We are not available to stock towels after that time. Communal toilet rooms and showers are available in the main building.

At 12:00pm each day, our maintenance team will briefly step around your Caravan exterior to manage a brief inspection of the water and sanitation tanks on your Caravan.  Bikes are complimentary for all guests during your stay, but be sure to sign a bike waiver before using them.  There are no fire pits or open flame on property. Ojai has grocery stores within a 5-10 minute drive. We offer complimentary coffee/tea/cocoa in your room. Complimentary WiFi is available, but there are no TVs on-site. Private botanical garden areas with bistro sets, pagoda umbrellas, and lounge chairs are available for your enjoyment. 

Pet Policy: If you're bringing a dog, ensure you've reserved a dog-friendly caravan. There's a $60+ tax fee per dog, with a limit of 2 dogs per caravan. Service dogs are welcome in accordance with the law, while emotional support dogs are subject to the dog fee. All dogs should be indicated on your check in forms in order to avoid a $250 fine upon check-in. 

Smoking Policy: Caravan Outpost is a non-smoking property, but there is a designated smoking area with a butt dispenser. A $500 fine will be charged if smoking is detected inside any caravan. 

Deluxe Caravans can have one extra bed requested for a fee of $35, but it must be arranged before 1pm on the day of check-in.  Some caravans have specific bed arrangements, so please be aware of the sleeping arrangements for your booked unit. 

Kitchen: If you plan to cook or dine in your caravan, please bring your own cooking supplies as no cooking supplies of any kind are provided. Please indicate in our property waivers if you would like a set of dishware in your caravan. A set includes a plant-based biodegradable plate, bowl, cold cup, and utensils. No grills or fires of any kind are allowed.

Rental Agreement and Policies: Special events or parties are not allowed without prior consent. No open flames or grills are allowed on the property due to fire danger. Please return all keys upon check-out to avoid a $250 fee. Abide by occupancy requirements and seek authorization for additional visitors. 

Caravan Outpost is not responsible for weather-related issues and does not provide refunds for weather-related cancellations. 

Guests are fully responsible for any damage to the caravan and its contents. The premises must not be used for unlawful purposes. By providing payment information, you agree to the purchase of your reservation. Cancellation policies apply, and specific rules for multiple caravan reservations are in place.
