CHILDREN POLICY: 
One children 11 years old and below are free of charge sharing bed with the parents.

VISITORS:

Swimming Pool : Visitors are strictly prohibited from using the hotel swimming pool, pool access is reserved exclusively for registered hotel guests.

Guest Rooms : a maximum of 2 visitors per guest room

•    Visitor hours are limited to 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

•    Visitors must not stay overnight in guest rooms

Visitors are welcome in the hotel reception and in the restaurant.

PAYMENT: 
Valid credit card is required to secure your reservation. The Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to the guest's arrival to guarantee the room reservation. All payment must be done upon check-in and credit card physically swipe in our POS.If you choose to not pay online please contact us within the day of your booking to proceed to the bank transfer. If a deposit is not done after 24 hours your reservation might be cancel.

OTHER PAYMENT POLICIES: 
For All rooms, promotions are NON-REFUNDABLE. Full payment will be applied for the entire duration of 100% charge through guest credit card.INCIDENTAL DEPOSIT: Incidental deposit of Php 2,000.00 net per room per night shall be required upon check-in by cash or credit card. Incidental charges will be on guests’ accounts unless otherwise advised, and should be settled in full individually upon check-out by cash or credit card.

STANDARD CANCELLATION: Any cancellation or modification received within 14 days prior to arrival date 100% of the entire stay will be charged, 15 - 30 days first night will be charged. 31 days and up Rebooking (subject to availability).
PROMOTION CANCELLATION: No cancellation or modification. No refund.NO - SHOW: In case of no-show 100% of the total reservation amount will be charged as a cancellation fee and NO REFUND will be given 

SECTION A: LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

1. Liability Waiver

The guest acknowledges and agrees that:

• Use of resort facilities (pool, beach, sports equipment) is at their own risk
• The resort cannot be held liable for injuries, losses or damages resulting from recreational activities
• This waiver also covers family members and companions of the guest

2. Civil Liability Insurance

• Guest confirms having valid travel insurance
• In absence of insurance, guest assumes full responsibility for medical expenses
• Resort strongly recommends insurance covering water activities

SECTION B: PHILIPPINE LEGAL OBLIGATIONS

3. Mandatory Registration (In accordance with Hotel Code of 1987)

• All guests and visitors must register with valid identification
• Personal information must be provided during check-in
• Data retention for minimum 5 years for legal compliance

4. Respect for Local Laws

• Guest commits to respecting all Philippine laws in force
• Formal prohibition of drugs, prostitution or illegal activities
• Mandatory cooperation with authorities in case of inspection

5. Pool and Beach Safety (Philippine Resort Code Compliance)

• Designated swimming areas must be respected
• Child supervision: Exclusive parental responsibility 24/7
• Pool hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (safety lighting after 7:00 PM)
• Night swimming: Prohibited for safety reasons

6. Warning System

• 1st warning: Verbal reminder + note in file
• 2nd warning: Written reminder + temporary access restriction
• 3rd warning: Immediate eviction without refund

7. Grounds for Immediate Eviction

• Physical or verbal violence towards staff/guests
• Willful damage to resort property
• Non-compliance with safety rules after warning
• Illegal activities of any nature
• State of intoxication disrupting public order

SECTION F: PERSONAL DATA & COMMUNICATION

8. Data Protection (Data Privacy Act Philippines)

• Consent for collection/processing of personal data
• Limited use: stay management, billing, marketing communication
• Right to access, rectify and delete upon written request
• Minimum 5-year retention for legal obligations

9. Image/Video Authorization

• Consent for photos/videos for promotional purposes
• Right of withdrawal upon written request within 30 days
• Commercial use limited to Carpe Diem Resort marketing materials

MANDATORY CONSENT DECLARATION

"I declare that I have read, understood and accepted all the above clauses. I confirm that this information also applies to all companions in my reservation. I acknowledge that non-compliance with these rules may result in immediate eviction without financial compensation."
