HOTEL RULES / TERMS & CONTITIONS

The Boutique Retreat strives to provide our guests with anexceptionally clean, comfortable and convenient hotel experience. These HotelPolicies/House Rules are considered part of our reservation agreement with you.As our hotel guest, and as upon your check-in, you are agreeing to abide by ALLof our Hotel Policies/House Rules, terms and conditions, and procedures, and wereserve the right to refuse service, or to make a charge to the guest's card ifany fees are assessed for damages or not complying with Hotel Policies / HouseRules.  The Management of The Boutique Retreat would greatly appreciateyour co-operation in abiding the following, as we value each of our guest'ssafety and enjoyment. Our Hotel Policies/House Rules may change from time to time. 

Arrival and Departure Guests must be at least 18 years of age to checkin at The Boutique Retreat. In the interests of security and to prevent fraud,guests are required to confirm their identity by providing their validgovernment issued photo identification (Driver’s license, Passport and/orIdentification Card (IC)) prior to check-in. Check-in time is from 3.00pm.  Check-out time is prior to 11.00 am.  Early check-ins andlate check-outs must be approved in-advance by Management and may be subject toan additional fee.   

Cancellations Cancellationsmade more than seven (7) days before scheduled arrival will be fullyrefunded. Cancellations made less than seven (7) days before scheduled arrivalwill forfeit the full deposit (first night’s fee plus taxes). “No shows” willforfeit the full amount of the stay unless prior arrangements are made withManagement. Modification requests are also subject to these time requirements.    

Accepted Payment Methods We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.Other payment methods may be arranged directly with Boutique Retreatmanagement.  

Reservations Guarantee To guarantee your reservation you will be askedfor your credit card details. At time of booking, you authorize us to chargeyour credit card for the first night's stay plus any applicable taxes. You alsoauthorize The Boutique Retreat to charge your credit card for the remainingbalance due within seven (7) days of arrival. If any credit card charge isdenied, you authorize The Boutique Retreat to keep the first night's bookingfee, plus taxes and cancel the booking. 

Rates and Minimum Length of Stay Requirements Our rates vary by roomtype, availability, day of the week and season; weekends are always in highdemand. During periods of high demand or major events and for certain packageswe may apply a requirement for a minimum length of stay. You will be advised ofthis at the time of your reservation.                        

Local Taxes All guest expenses are subject to the City of McMinnvilletransient lodging tax of 10% and the Oregon state lodging tax of 1.5% which isexclusive of any nightly rate quoted.  



Additional Guests Our Cottage designs were based upon the tiny houseconcept. As such, they cannot accommodate more than two guests at a time -either two adults or one adult and one child. If this policy is violated, andmore than two guests stay in a Cottage, a $150 additional guest fee (per guestand per night) will be automatically charged to your card on file. 

Smoking We do not permit smoking within our guest rooms or in any ofthe common areas. Further, Oregon's Indoor Clean Air Act (ICAA) prohibitssmoking within ten feet of any entrance, door or window of the BoutiqueRetreat. A sanitation fee of $250.00 will be charged where smoking occurswithin a guest room or any prohibited area. 

Small Pets and Animals No pets or animals are allowed within our guestrooms. A pet sanitation fee of $250.00 will be charged in the case ofunauthorized pets or animals. 

Right to Refuse Service The Boutique Retreat is privately owned andoperated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason(s)that does not violate Federal or State laws. The Boutique Retreat has a zerotolerance policy in which we will refuse to admit or refuse service oraccommodation in our hotel or may remove a person, without refund, who refusesto abide by the reasonable standards and policies established herein.  The Boutique Retreat will refuse service orevict a guest for:  failure to pay foraccommodations; for being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any otherintoxicating substance and acting in a disorderly fashion as to disturb thepeace of other guests; acting in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peaceof other guests; failing to properly supervise their children at all times; usingthe hotel for an unlawful purpose; bringing into the hotel any firearm, explosives,unlawful hazardous or toxic substance; destroying, damaging, defacing, orthreatening harm to hotel property, employees or guests; exceeding the maximumallowable occupancy of room; refusing to abide by the Terms and Conditionsstated herein. We reserve the right to electronically change the door code toyour Cottage and refuse further access to your Cottage in the event of materialviolation of our policies. If this happens, either law enforcement or a persondesignated by Management will meet you at your door to remove your belongings.

HOUSE RULES 
No Parties The Boutique Retreat enforces a No In-Room Party Policyto ensure we can protect the hotel and our guests at all times. No parties,loud disturbances and/or noise-nuisance are allowed or tolerated on thesepremises. In the event of a disturbance, one polite request (warning) will begiven to reduce the noise. If our request is not followed, the guest will beasked to leave the hotel without refund. Registered guest(s) are responsiblefor all persons visiting. Non-Registered visitors are only permitted until11:00PM. If found with more “people” not listed on the Guest Registration Formafter 11:00PM, your stay will be considered a party. If this policy isviolated, the Host will have the option of terminating your occupancy withoutrefund or charging a $200 fee for the disturbance.    

Quiet Hours10:00PMto 8:00AM. If you become aware of a disruptive guest,please contact Retreat Management at (503) 563-0505 immediately by phone.Televisions, voices or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level atall times. Doors should be opened and closed quietly.  If this policy isviolated, the Host will have the option of terminating your occupancy withoutrefund or charging a $150 fee for the disturbance.    

Children As the parents, guardians, or chaperones of children aged 18and under, you are personally and legally responsible for, and must supervisethem at all times. For safety reasons, please do not leave children unattendedin guest rooms or allow them to roam the hotel property unsupervised. 

Free WiFi Access Access to our WiFi is free for our registered guests.The hotel WiFi access code is subject to change without notice. The hotel willnot be liable in the event of WiFi disruption. Guests may not incur anyinternet charges or pay per view fees that are not directly paid for by theguest. While streaming services are provided by the Boutique Retreat, guestsare responsible for deleting any private log-in credentials used during theirstay. ​

Parking at Own Risk All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner.The Boutique Retreat shall not assume liability or responsibility for anyvehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked near the hotelproperty. 

Damage and/or Theft of Hotel Property You are liable for any damagehowsoever caused (whether by deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to theroom(s), hotel’s premises or property caused by you or any person in yourparty, whether or not staying at the hotel during your stay. The BoutiqueRetreat reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit carddetails, or forfeit your security deposit of as presented at registration andcharge or debit the credit/debit card such amounts as it shall, at its solediscretion, deem necessary to compensate or make good the cost or expensesincurred or suffered by The Boutique Retreat as a result of the aforesaid.Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve theright, and you hereby authorize us, to charge your credit or debit card for anydamage incurred to your room or the Hotel property during your stay, includingand without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smokingfee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc. We will make every effort torectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialist to make therepairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guestwould incur to a minimum.  

Damage to Room Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishing and equipmentincluding the removal of electronic equipment, towels, artwork, etc. will becharged at 150% of full and new replacement value plus anyshipping and handling charges. Any damage to hotel property, whether accidentalor wilful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particularroom. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged tothe credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal chargeswill be pursued.​ 

Gratuities and Service Charges Tips and gratuities to our team membersare at our guest’s discretion and we do not apply any compulsory servicecharges. 

Environmental Policy We constantly challenge ourselves to provide theright environment for our guests and team members through the promotion ofenvironmental awareness. We train our team members to incorporate goodenvironmental practice in all aspects by periodically reviewing our practices,procedures and objectives. 

Website Information The Boutique Retreat makes its best efforts toensure that all the information that appears on its website is accurate.However, no warranty, expressed or implied, is given that the informationprovided on this website is error free. The Boutique Retreat does not acceptliability for any such errors and/or omissions, and reserves the right tochange the information published at anytime andwithout notice. Disputes and Claims Any controversy,dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these hotel policiesshall come under the jurisdiction of most competent courts of Yamhill County,Oregon.
