Welcome to the Stonewater - your relaxing home on the Sunshine Coast, just a couple hours from the busy city.
If you're looking to cozy up and relax (like us), we have 2.5 acres of natural grounds, shaded with hundred-year old cedar trees for you to chill on. Our suites were renovated in 2024 and have full kitchens, SmartTVs, Keurig machines (with hot chocolate pods!), bathrobes, and everything you need to unwind and connect with yourself (and nature).
If you're looking for adventure (like us, sometimes), you'll discover world-class hikes, beaches, artist studios, scuba diving, snowshoeing, fishing, mountain biking, and some of the warmest lakes in Canada, all within minutes of your home-base. We also have connections to trusted experience partners - friends of ours from the community - who can get you anything from kayak and snowshoe rentals, all the way to horseback tours and fishing trips.

Terms and Conditions
- Booking and Payment:
- Payment: 100% payment is due at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
- Security Deposit: As your credit card is securely stored in our system upon booking we do not require an additional security deposit. However, incase of damage to the room and or products or the need of excessive cleaning your card will be charged to cover our expenses, time and/or temporary downtime of the accommodation availability.
- Summer Friday Check in: During the summer any bookings made for Friday check-ins require a 2 night minimum stay.
- Cancellation Policy:
- Refunds: 100% of your booking is refundable when canceled 30 days before arrival. 50% of your booking is refundable when canceled 14 days before arrival.. 0% refundable within 14 days of your arrival.
- No Shows: No shows will be charged the full amount of the booking.
- Check-in and Check-out:
- Check-in Time: From 4:00 PM on the day of arrival.
- Check-out Time: By 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
- Occupancy:
- Maximum Occupancy: Our Garden Suites and Glaming Campers have a maximum occupancy of 4 guests while our Studios have a maximum of 2 guests. We can, on occasion, provide an extra bed cot for our suites only at an additional charge. Exceeding this limit will result in extra charges.
- Parking:
- Parking Availability: Please note there is only one parking spot per unit available. All parking is free onsite.
- Pets:
- Pet Policy: Pets are more than welcome on our property and in your rooms for an additional charge of $15/night/room. However, guests are asked to ensure their pets do not cause excessive noise, damage, and/or abnormal mess during their stay otherwise additional charges may apply.
- Smoking:
- Smoking Policy: Smoking is not allowed inside the units, and is only permissible outside. Guests are asked to be mindful of other guests, and children, on site.
- Security:
- Cameras: On-site cameras are only located in common and shared spaces on the property.
- Compliance:
- Lawful Use: Guests agree to use the property for lawful purposes only.
- Consequence: Failure to comply with these terms may result in immediate removal from the property without any refund.
- Respectful Behavior:
- Noise: Please keep noise levels to a minimum. Quiet hours are in place between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM to respect other guests. Excessive and highly disruptive noise at any time may result in a fine and possible termination of reservation.
- Parties: Parties and large gatherings are not permitted unless previously approved by the on-site manager.
- Liability:
- Clause: The Stonewater property is within a rural area of the Sunshine Coast. Wildlife, trees, and other natural elements are common around the property. As such, the Stonewater is not liable for any loss or damage of personal property or towards any personal injury that may occur during your stay within and outside property limits.
- Force Majeure:
- Clause: The Stonewater will not be liable for any loss of booking to the extent caused by a condition that was beyond our reasonable control, such as, but not limited to, natural disasters, severe weather changes, ferry delays, governmental action or policy.
- External Circumstances:
Clause: As the only access to the Sunshine Coast is via ferry boats, guests are required to ensure they make timely bookings, especially during the summer months. Guests that are unable to make it to the property, due to reasons outside of control, will not be refunded the cost of their booking.
