Our family run traditional pub with seven cosy ensuite rooms is situated on the side of the Grand Union Canal, just outside the picturesque villages of Weedon Bec and Nether Heyford in the Northamptonshire countryside. Whether you're looking for a one night stay whilst travelling for business or attending a local wedding, or a few days away to explore the local walks and attractions, our comfortable rooms, friendly team, and pub facilities will make you feel at home. We also have a dog friendly menu and spaces within the pub and a dog friendly hotel room available on request if your pooch is your travelling companion!

Terms and Conditions
Reservation Policy: Your reservation is guaranteed until the day of arrival. After that time, it will no longer be guaranteed, and the room may be reassigned. All requests to reserve a room must include first and last name, a contact telephone number, valid credit/debit card details, and must be made by a person 18 or older. Valid ID will be required at check-in. Our room rates are subject to change. When booking, keep the occupancy rules in mind – two people maximum per room.
Check-in/Check-out Policy: You can check-in anytime between 2:30pm and 9:00pm Monday-Saturday, and between 2:30pm and 8:00pm on a Sunday. Please go to the bar in the pub to check-in. Check-in cannot be completed, and keys will not be provided until payment for the full duration of your stay has been received. Our team will provide you with any information you may require, and if you would like a table reserving, please let us know. You can check-out any time before 10:30am: please hand your keys to a member of the team or leave them in your room and close the door firmly behind you. A detailed inspection of the room is made after check-out, and were serve the right to make charges for any damages/breakages/theft found before the room is occupied again.
Cancellation Policy:
- If the guest cancels 3 or more days in advance, no charges will be made.
- If the guest cancels 2 days in advance, the cost of the first night of your stay will be charged to your card.
- If a guest cancels within 24 hours, the full cost of the stay will be charged.
- If a guest arrives and decides to leave early, no refund will begiven.
- In case of a no show, the total price of the reservation will be charged and is non-refundable.
- If you need to cancel, please send a cancellation request, including your name and reservation number to hello@narrowboatatweedon.co.uk and we will confirm the cancellation via email.
Smoking Policy: The Narrowboat is a non-smoking property, including traditional smoking methods, and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporisers, vape pens, electronic cigarettes, e-pipes, and any variations. Any smoking in the room or lingering smoking scents in the room will result in a £… room cleaning fee.
Parking Policy: Our car park is free for use and allows you to park close to your room. We do not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property.
Children Policy: Children under the age of 16 must not be left unaccompanied in a room, and 16 and 17 year olds must have an adult (person aged 18 or older) also staying in the same or separate room booked with us. We DO NOT provide cots for babies.
Pet Policy: We are a dog friendly establishment: a maximum of two dogs are allowed in our dog friendly room for a charge of £15 per night. Please keep them on lead in the pub and garden area, and please pick up after them. For any local walks or if you need help with their care during your stay, please email us in advance of your stay. No dogs are to be left unattended in the room at anytime. We do not allow any other pets.
Guest Safety Policy: As part of our commitment to guest safety, team members will not disclose the identity, room number or presence of a guest to anyone other than appropriate law enforcement. This includes the taking of or delivery of messages. It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and room number to any person they wish to receive visits from.
Extending Your Stay: After you have booked your stay with us, you can extend your stay, depending on availability, by letting us know before you arrive. If you are already staying with us and would like to stay longer, please let us know at least 12 hours before your check-out date. We will do our best to accommodate you, but this may require you moving to a different room.
