It incorporates passive house principles, creating a delightful warm space for snuggling up above the winter clouds. Wedgetail is not off grid, and has a regular flush toilet and "septic" system.

By making a booking you confirm that you have the necessary level of skills required for any activities you undertake, and for staying in a wilderness environment. You are responsible for your own safety, and that of your property, throughout your stay. Moonbah Escapes and its affiliates are not liable for any personal injury or damage to your property caused by animals, weather conditions, trees, use of roads and facilities or misadventure on the property. Refunds will not be offered due to inclement weather conditions.

Moonbah escapes reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time, including eviction from the property for failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions.

No payments made by promotional vouchers, Gift Cards, Service NSW vouchers can be exchanged for cash or transferred to another party under any circumstances, regardless of booking cancellations.
Moonbah Escapes also reserves the right to charge additional cleaning fees if cabins are left dirty beyond normal day-to-day usage. Removal of any excess rubbish will incur extra costs charged to the credit card under which the booking was made
Off-grid:
Early departures or failure to arrive for your “Moonbah Escape” will not be entitled to a refund either in part of full.

Moonbah Escapes provides everything required to enjoy an escape immersed in nature. In keeping with our ethos we aim to keep everything simple, sustainable and ecologically responsible. This includes a simple and minimalistic space, equipped with all essentials to cook, clean, shower and sleep. Every escape includes cooking utensils, an indoor cooktop, outdoor Barbeque, a small fridge, bedding, towels and basic consumables such as salt, pepper, coffee, tea. “Wombat” also has a microwave.
All equipment and facilities are provided at the discretion of Moonbah Escapes. While we aim for all equipment to be in working order for the duration of your stay, should a breakdown or rare occurrence arise that renders a non-essential element unusable, Moonbah Escapes does not take the responsibility for replacing or refunding the guest for the lack of use of this equipment or facilities. Should an item not be in working order, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can attend to it.
“Wallaby” is fitted with gas heating. Instructions are provided and it is expected that equipment will be used appropriately and responsibly.
“Wombat” provides reverse cycle air-conditioning. If required, please leave heating (or cooling) on at a reasonable temperature (21-23 degrees) during the day to reduce energy consumption required to heat art night.
Moonbah Escapes does not charge a security bond with bookings. However, if loss or damage is incurred during a stay, Moonbah Escapes reserves the right to charge the credit card under which the booking was made to recover the cost of such damage or loss including but not limited to breakage, accidental damage, malicious damage, theft or loss of items.All equipment and facilities are provided at the discretion of Moonbah Escapes. While we aim for all equipment to be in working order for the duration of your stay, should a breakdown or rare occurrence arise that renders a non-essential element unusable, Moonbah Escapes does not take the responsibility for replacing or refunding the guest for the lack of use of this equipment or facilities. Moonbah Escapes are “off-grid” rural dwellings. This means that the dwelling is powered by its own solar electricity, gas, and water supply at all times and is not connected to any mains.
Please use resources (electricity, gas and water) responsibly as they are precious and limited. Every effort will be made to ensure provision of these services. The nature of being off-grid means that inappropriate usage may cause the rare occurrences when water, gas and electricity may be low throughout your stay.
Should you incur an outage, please contact us as soon as possible so we can support you throughout these occurrences in the unlikely event they arise.
There is intermittent/little to no phone or mobile service depending on your provider and location. Generally, reception is available on the main road.

Parking:
Moonbah Escapes are located on rural land with varying access conditions.
To ensure the safety of our guests and the conservation of the natural environment, you are required to park your vehicle at the designated parking area. Failure to adhere to driving and parking directions severely risks the condition of the land, biosecurity as well as the safety of you and your vehicle.
Retrieval and damage fees may be incurred if required for failure to remain on designated areas.
Guest Identity:
To ensure the safety of all parties traveling to Moonbah Escapes, the identity of all guests must be disclosed before arriving.Failure to disclose this information may be regarded as trespassing on rural, privately owned land, resulting in heavy fines or prosecution.
The number of guests at the dwelling must not exceed the stipulated number in the booking; this is two (2) per tiny house.
Minimum age:
All booked guests must be at least 18 years of age unless explicitly excepted in writing by Moonbah Escapes.Under no circumstances are underage personnel permitted to consume alcohol or partake in illicit activity.
Moonbah Escapes is not responsible for underage drinking and violations of this policy will result in immediate expulsion from the premises without refund, and involvement with law enforcement.
Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted inside any dwelling at any time. If you choose to smoke, you are required to do so responsibly at a minimum of a 10-metre distance from the dwelling.Litter of any kind is not permitted on the property or in the dwelling at any time.
Extreme Weather Conditions:
Moonbah Escapes are located in an alpine environment and subject to occasional extreme or inclement weather conditions. This may on extremely rare occasions make access difficult. We will endeavour to assist with access or departure, if required, though this may not always be possible.
Refunds are not offered due to early departure, and may be at our explicit discretion if access is prohibitive due to extreme weather. Please always only venture out in weather/situations for which you have appropriate equipment and skill to navigate.
Composting Toilet:
The dwellings are installed with composting toilets, specifically designed for commercial use.
They are waterless, and the provided bidet sprayers must be used sparingly for cleaning the bowl only.
Keep the lid closed at all times
All necessary instructions for using composting toilets are located in the dwellings.All our composting toilets are installed specifically to emit no smell. However, if you notice any smell when arriving, please inform us immediately.
Under no circumstances are guests permitted to place any food, sanitary items, or foreign objects in the toilet at any time. If you are found to have placed any of the above items in the toilet chamber, there will be an immediate $2,000 charge to you.
Campfires:
No fires are allowed under any circumstances, and failure to comply will result in immediate expulsion without compensation/refund.
Any guest who lights a fire when a fire ban has been imposed will be removed from the property and will immediately incur a $2,000 fine, and be reported to appropriate authorities.
Wildlife:
The countryside surrounding Moonbah Escapes aims to leave the environment largely undisturbed. With this being the case, natural wildlife and rural livestock inhabit the land surrounding our dwellings.Moonbah Escapes do not accept any liability for the seasonal and geographical inhabitance of certain wildlife or livestock.
By booking you accept to take responsibility for your safety around wildlife and livestock.
For your safety, please do not approach any wildlife or livestock at any stage throughout your stay.
Moonbah Escapes are not liable for any personal injury or damage to property as a result of animals, wildlife and livestock.
Liability:
By booking, you agree that Moonbah Escapes will not be held responsible for any personal injury caused by direct or indirect use of the Tiny House or land and surrounds. This includes damages, insurance, loss due to misadventure, fire, theft, injury (whether occurring inside the Tiny House or on the surrounding property), and misconduct.
The guest provides their guarantee that they will indemnify and hold Moonbah Escapes and the landowner harmless from all claims, actions, damages, costs and expenses including legal fees arising from or in connection with any person accompanying the guest during their stay.
In the event of failure to comply with the aforementioned Terms and Conditions, Moonbah Escapes reserves the right to ask the guest to leave the accommodation and property, and the guest in question cannot request any form of compensation.
All guests are to behave responsibly and correctly on behalf of themselves and accompanying parties. They acknowledge that they and their guests will absolve Moonbah Escapes and affiliates from any liability associated with the damages or injuries. If this person, or any of the accompanying party behaves in an unsuitable and incorrect manner, Moonbah Escapes reserves the right to ask the person and their accompanying party to leave the Tiny House. Furthermore, they will have no right to future claims or any form of compensation.
A confirmed booking with Moonbah Escapes means that you automatically accept our Terms and Conditions, which you are expected to comply with.
Biosecurity:
Biosecurity is extremely important to our rural communities, agricultural sector as well as Australia in general. Please do not behave in a manner that may compromise our biosecurity.
Such as: - Bringing plants, seeds, animals or dirty garments from other areas to the property.
Please remove any seeds and obvious contaminations from shoes and clothing before returning to your accommodation.
Do not visit if you have recently been in a risk area, such as Foot and Mouth Declared areas. Failure to disclose any contamination or prohibited travel will result in heavy fines.
You are you liable for any damage caused to the dwelling or surrounding property by you and your accompanying party.
