LODGING POLICIES

The Presidents' Quarters is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us.
We are a dog-friendly inn, but we only accept them in our 1st floor Traditional Rooms. There is a pet fee of $50 for your stay, however it can sometimes be $100 if it is a larger dog, or there are two. Unfortunately, we do not accept other pets.

If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 8 (eight) days* prior to your arrival date to cancel for free. Keep in mind that if you have booked through a third party site including but not limited to Expedia or Booking.com your reservation is subject to a 14 day cancellation period. We require a credit card on file at the time of booking, and will charge the 1st night as a deposit 8 days prior to your check in date. If you have a Gift Certificate for your stay, we require a credit card number to hold the reservation and the value of the Gift Certificate will be applied to your stay when you present it at check-in.

In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than eight (8) days* notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can re-book your room(s), a full or partial refund may be offered by management. Gift Certificates for stays are subject to our eight day cancellation policy and are subject to a possible forfeit of value.
*If you have booked through a third party site, you will need to cancel your reservation directly the third party site and we will process the cancellation when we receive notification from them. Keep in mind that your third party reservation is subject to a 14 day cancellation policy. If you cancel through the third party site with 14 days or more notice the full deposit will be refunded. If you cancel with less than 14 days notice, you will forfeit the deposit and be responsible for the balance of your stay.*

Full house bookings are subject to a 50% deposit and a 30 day cancellation period. Any rooms cancelled with 30 days or more notice will be charged a $25 cancellation fee for each room cancelled. If you cancel with less than 30 days notice the deposit is non-refundable and you will be responsible for the balance of the each room cancelled. No refunds will be given for change of dates, "no shows", or shortened stays with less than 30 days notice.

For stays the week of St. Patrick's Day, the deposit is non-refundable if you cancel any time after the reservation has been processed. The remaining balance of your stay will be charged 30 days prior to your arrival and that payment is non-refundable at that point. Changing dates of stay will not be allowed due to the required three night minimum. If you cancel any or all nights of your stay, you will be responsible for the full amount of the original dates of the reservation. No refunds will be given for changes of dates, "no shows", or shortened stays.
