Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Quinta do Chocalhinho, a rural hotel where you can book Accommodation, Activities, and/or Packages (accommodation with activities). Our three types of accommodation (Apartment T1+1, Studio, and Double or Twin Rooms) can be booked individually for a nightly rate or for longer stays, as long as availability is confirmed. If you prefer a pre-planned vacation, book one of our predefined packages at the prices shown on our website.
All reservations at Quinta do Chocalhinho include a buffet breakfast with local products, whenever possible of organic origin, and seasonal fruits, served between 9:00 am and 11:00 am.
Check-in is at 4 pm, but if you need an early or late check-in, please contact us in advance. Check-out is until 12:00 pm, both carried out at our reception desk. Free on-site parking is available.
For families with young children, we provide a complimentary cot for infants up to 2 years old, with a maximum capacity of one crib per room. We do not allow pets as a rule, but we will consider your request if you provide us with more information.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside our accommodations.
Booking Conditions:You can make a reservation by using our website reservation engine, by email at info@chocalhinho.pt, or by telephone. Please provide your contact information, desired dates, type of accommodation, and any extra requests. We will validate your request based on availability.
To formalize your reservation, we require prepayment of the first night of each stay, which you can pay through our online payment system available at the time of booking.
Pricing Policy:All prices include VAT. The maximum capacity per accommodation cannot be exceeded, but you can request an extra bed if possible. The extra bed will have an additional cost of €30/night for an adult, €20/night for a teenager, and €10/night for a child up to 12 years old.
We accept payments in cash, credit or debit cards, MB Way, or bank transfer. Payment must be made during check-out.
Changes or Cancellations:To make changes or cancel a confirmed reservation, please communicate by email or telephone. After processing your request, we will send you a confirmation of the cancellation or change, indicating the amount to be refunded and the amounts charged, if any.
Cancellation Policy:Up to 7 days before the check-in date, we will refund the entire prepayment. Up to 7 days from the scheduled arrival date, we will refund 50% of the prepayment amount. Up to 3 days before the scheduled arrival date, we will refund 75% of the prepayment amount. In case of a no-show without any explanation, any amount already paid by the customer will not be refunded. Please note that cancellation charges (e.g., bank transfers or other payment fees, if applicable) are not our responsibility. Refunds will be made within 30 days of the date on which the cancellation or change is confirmed.
Cleaning:We provide daily cleaning services, including change of bed linen, change of towels, and cleaning and disinfection of the entire accommodation. Intermediate cleaning is done after 3 nights. For environmental reasons, we do not change towels daily. Additional supplies of bed linen and towels may incur additional costs. Laundry services have separate charges.
Extra Activities and Services:In addition to our accommodation and range of activities, we offer other services, such as massages, beauty treatments, use of the Spa, with jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath and tempered shower. Car rental (transfers), bicyclesl (BTT), workshops, and organized external activities (walking trails, bird watching) among others. All extra services must be requested as far in advance as possible. The price(s) of the extra service(s) varies according to availability, requested dates and type of service(s) provided. Availability and prices will be confirmed by Quinta do Chocalhinho in due course. The value of these services or activities is not automatically calculated in the total cost of the online booking and must be paid separately during the stay or activity.
