Property and Cancelation Policies :
- In case your plans change, SIP SUNSET HOSTEL and LOUNGE should be informed of any cancellations and/or bookingrevisions by email as soon as possible during working hours (8:00am to 5:00pm).
- The modification/cancellation request for bookings made online will be processed automatically through the Internet Booking Engine. Any refund due shall be done through the system in accordance with the applicable modification/cancellation rules. Incase of rebooking, a rate difference may be payable for the change as per the rate applicable for the rebooked date/ room type and subject to availability.
- Cancellations made within thirty- one (31) days and above prior to the guests scheduled arrival are free of charge.
- Cancellations made within sixteen (16) to thirty (30) days prior to the guests scheduled arrival are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of your deposit per cancelled room.
- Cancellations made within fifteen (15) days or less prior to the guests scheduled arrival are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of your deposit or full payment per cancelled room.
- Payment shall be forfeited for NO SHOW on arrival date.
- Shortened stay shall be subject to forfeiture of full payment.
- Cancellation due to force majeure in El Nido will directly prevent the transit and arrival of guests at SIP SUNSET HOSTEL and LOUNGE maybe rebooked within 6 months from the original check – in date, subject to room availability and rate differential, if any.
Refund policy:·
- On cancellation of refundable booking the refund processing will take time between two (2) -to four (4) weeks to show refund back on your credit card statement. Reasons for the specified processing time are based on billing cycle of your credit card company and processing time of the bank. The refund depends on numerous factors such as the hotel's cancellation policy, time of cancellation and processing fees etc. For more details refer to the cancellation policy mentioned above.
- In case the reservation is not confirmed, we will not charge you anything on your credit card and release the whole amount if any that was held on it immediately. Now after we do this, it will still take two (2) to four (4) weeks for the bank to process the refund and to show the refunded amount on your credit card
Terms and Conditions
Check-in and Check-out GuidelinesTerms and Conditions:
- Standard Check-in time is 2:00 PM (1400 hrs.) and standard check-out time is 12:00 NN (1200 hrs.).
- Requests for early check-in (as early as 12:00 NN) orlate check-out (up to 4:00 PM) may be accommodated subject to room availability and hotel capacity. Approval of such requests relies on the sole discretion of the Hostel Manager.
- Check-in between 6:00 AM to 1:59 PM, and/or check-out between 12:01 PM to 8:00 PM may be allowed, subject to room availability and approval of Hostel Manager. Guests will subsequently be charged 300php/hour.
- Kindly advise guests to bring hostel or travel agency voucher, identification card to facilitate check-in.
- Any incidentals and consumptions made by guests shall be settled directly to the Hostel.
- The dates of your booking will be held upon receipt ofa full payment non-refundable deposit.
- A confirmed booking will occur once you have sent us your proof of payment (scanned copy or photo of deposit slip or any payment confirmation).
- Check-in time is 2:00 PM onward. Early check-in is subject to availability of the room at an additional PHP 300.00 per hour.
- Our check-out time is 12:00 NN. Late check out can be requested subject to availability of the room at an additional PHP 300.00per hour.
- If you have any special requests (for example dietary requirements or room location for seniors or PWD), please let us know at the time of booking.
- Please note that except by prior arrangement confirmed in writing (via email), only the number of persons specified on a booking confirmation may occupy a room.
- You are responsible for informing us of any losses or damage to the property as soon as possible. Please note that you will be liable to pay us for any losses or damage to the property caused by you ora member of your party (except reasonable wear and tear).
- If any guest behaves inappropriately, improperly, or illegally, we reserve the right to ask the guest and their party to leave the property before the end of their booking period. Any refund for doing so will be entirely at our discretion.
- Smoking is not allowed inside the rooms. We encourage you to proceed to our designated smoking area.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- We operate on a quiet policy between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am and request that noise levels be kept to a minimum between these hours. This is for your comfort as well as the comfort of our other guests. (Unless the SIP SUNSET LOUNGE BAR is holding a party).
- We strive to make your stay as memorable and comfortable as possible. However, should any part of your stay not be to your satisfaction please address these concerns with us as soon as possible so that we can address them immediately. We will always do our best to remedy any issues.
- SIP SUNSET HOSTEL and LOUNGE accepts no liability for theft, loss, or damage of whatever nature, during or as a result of your stay at SIP SUNSET HOSTEL and LOUNGE. We provide you with a safety deposit box/locker in each room. However, you will be held responsible in keeping the keys to the safety box.
- Keys of your room and the lockers are your responsibility. Lost keys will be charged 2000.00php.
Cancellation Policy:
- SIP SUNSET HOSTEL and LOUNGE should be informed of any cancellations and/or booking revisions by text or call AND email as soon as possible. Cancellations made within Fifteen (15) days or less prior to the guest's scheduled arrival are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of your deposit or full payment per cancelled room. Payment shall be forfeited for NO SHOW on arrival date.Shortened stay shall be subject to forfeiture of full payment.
- Cancellation due to force majeure in El Nido, Puerto Princesa, or guests’ point of origin, that will directly prevent the transit and arrival of guests at SIP SUNSET HOSTEL and LOUNGE may be rebooked within 12 months from the original check-in date, subject to room availability and rate differential, if any.
