Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Kona Kai Resort. Below are the hotel policies and procedures; read them carefully. As our hotel guests, by reading and clicking "I agree with the terms and conditions of Kona Kai Resort" and/or signing your hotel registration card at check-in, you agree to abide by our hotel policies and procedures.
Booking and Cancellation Policies:
- A non-refundable one (1) night stay + taxes and fees will be charged at the moment of booking. The remaining amount due on the account will be charged upon check in.
- If a reservation is cancelled within fourteen (14) days of arrival or in case of a no-show, there will be a charge for 100% of all nights booked with us.
- If a reservation is cancelled fourteen (14) days prior to the date of arrival the non-refundable one (1) night stay + taxes and fees will be forfeited.
- If a reservation is made through Non-Refundable Advance Purchase Rate, the full amount of the stay plus tax will be charged at the time of booking. If cancellation to reservation is made, guest will forfeit total room charge plus tax.
- We do not offer refunds or discounts for early departures. Reservation payments are final.
- Kona Kai Resort reserves the right to cancel any and all reservations at our discretion.
- Our Rooms are subject to a daily resort fee ($25 plus tax). Please refer to the section "Resort Fees" below to learn more about what is included as a part of the resort fee at Kona Kai Resort.

Check-in is at 4pm. Please present your ID card, passport or temporary residence card upon check-in. Must be 21 or older to check in.Check-Out: 11am
Check-out is at 11am. If you require a later check-out, please contact the front office before 10am on the day of departure, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. A charge may apply, depending on availability.Late Arrivals
Guests arriving late must contact the front office before 6 PM in order to make arrangements for access to their unit. The office will be closed at 6 PM.Resort Fee

Boat Parking
A $45 fee per day, per boat will be added at the time of reservation. Max 25'. Absolutely no jet skis or wave runners are permitted on the property or around the dock. We also do not allow jet skis or wave runners parked on property.
No Pet Policy
No, we are not pet-friendly; but we do, however, happily welcome service animals as defined by the federal Americans with Disabilities Act’s (A.D.A.) Service Animal Guidelines.Any evidence of pet(s) on hotel property or in a guest’s room will result in a $150 cleaning fee per day charged to the guest account. Any guest found with pet(s) in their room will be asked to leave the property immediately.Smoking Policy
The hotel is 100% smoke free. There are smoking areas outside of the buildings. A $150 per day cleaning fee will be charged to the guest’s account should smoking occur anywhere inside the hotel rooms or with hotel room door left open allowing smoke to enter the unit.Internet Access
Please note standard internet service is complimentary with room purchase and suitable for emailing and social networking. Please note that guest room Wi-Fi is not meant for streaming large media files, watching movies, or gaming.Complaint / Damages Policy
If a complaint occurs due to the negligence of those occupying a guest room, disorderly conduct, unlawful activities, or repeated noise complaints, the offending guests may be evicted and/or receive additional charges to their account. If a guest is evicted, they are not entitled to any refund. If damages occur to the guest room or other areas of the hotel, the cost of the damage will be charged to the credit card registered upon check-in.Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of $100 to cover incidentals and / or damages. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged (we reserve the right to charge the debit / credit card for the full amount of the incidental / damage incurred). Authorized amounts may take up to 7 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and Kona Kai Resort will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Parking
Please park in any designated parking area (please note: no parallel parking). 1 (one) ADA designated parking space is available at the property.Fishing
You may fish from our dock, please note all fishing is catch and release only. We ask our guests to please leave all sharks, manatees, stingrays, and other sea creatures that pay us a visit untouched. Guests caught harassing or touching the wildlife will be asked to vacate the premises.Accessibility or Special Needs
Kona Kai Resort does not have any ADA compliant rooms.The lobby is not wheelchair accessible, but check-in can be completed without accessing the lobby (per request).
The beach, garden, pool and jacuzzi areas are not wheelchair accessible.
There is 1 (one) designated ADA parking spot on property.
