The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings whether made online at www.pinkflamingotanzania.com
or made by telephone, by email, by OTA or in person. We kindly ask that you take a moment to read them prior to making a Booking.
In these Terms and Conditions the following definitions apply:
“The Agreement” is your Booking Confirmation and the Terms and Conditions;
“The Hotel” is Pink Flamingo Ltd.;
“The Booking(s)” include(s) accommodation, food & beverage and other charges;
“The Guest(s)” is/are the person(s), company, organisation or other body responsible for making the Booking;
Guests may book in advance or on arrival. Bookings are subject to availability and the Company reserves the right to refuse any Booking for good reason. Guests are required to fully prepay or to provide a deposit at the time of the Booking or, latest, upon arrival at the Hotel.
The prices displayed on the website or at the Hotel are room charges on a "bed & breakfast" basis; the charges listed are inclusive of VAT (at the current rate) and quoted in US-Dollars. The room rates depend on the length of stay and the type of the room. The length of stay refers to a continuous stay in a room whereby interrupted overnight stays cannot be accumulated and stays cannot be transferred to/from other Guests.
Children under the age of 6 years stay free of charge if they stay in their parents' room. The Hotel might ask you for an official ID/passport to verify birth dates.
The VAT breakdown shown on your booking confirmation reflects the current rate of VAT and the expected VAT treatment of the goods or services consumed. Changes in VAT legislation may lead to charges that are different from the ones initially indicated.
Price lists for additional items, such as Restaurant meals, Airport Transfers and Laundry Service, are on display at relevant locations within the Hotel and are available on request.
All prices and charges are subject to change without prior notice.
You will be asked to pay a deposit at the time of the Booking to secure/confirm your reservation. Walk-in customers are required to pay for their intended length of stay upfront. In case of long term stays we request Guests to pay weekly in advance.
We accept the following methods of payment:
• Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard
• Bank Transfers: USD onto the bank account indicated on our proforma invoices
• Cheque: Company cheques issued by a bank registered in Tanzania (no personal cheques)
• Cash: US-Dollars, TZ-Shillings*, Euros* and Swiss Francs* (* at the Hotel's exchange rate)
If you opt to pay by bank transfer please make sure that all transaction costs are borne by you/the Guest. TheHotel will only credit you with the net amount received.
Agents, tour operators and corporate customers who book in their own name must pay the Hotel's charges directly themselves; The Hotel declines to collect payment on behalf of agents/tour operators and corporate customers.
The Guest must pay all outstanding charges on departure from the Hotel.
Cancellation/Non-Arrival for direct bookings
The Hotel will charge the following fees for late cancellations and 'no shows':
Cancellation received more than 10 days before check-in time/date No FEE
Cancellation received less than 10 days before check-in time/date full amount
Change of Booking date, No charges
Any change to the arrival date, departure date, number of rooms or room type is subject to availability at the time the change is requested and may result in a possible rate change.
Arrival and Departure
Guests may check-in at any time from 14:00 noon on the day of arrival. All bookings that have been fully prepaid at the time of booking will be held until 12:00 on the following day.
On the day of departure we kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 12:00. Later check-out can be requested subject to availability and will be charged at the published rate.
Guests may use the pools throughout the duration of their stay.
All swimming pools in the property are without lifeguards, clients are using them under them responsibility.
Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times when using the swimming pools.
At certain times facilities may become unavailable due to maintenance, adverse weather conditions or other reasons beyond our control.
The hotel will not accept liability for any damage, loss, injury or death suffered by the Guest resulting from the use of the Pool.
Use of Personal Information
All information provided in these Terms & Conditions is subject to change without notice.
The Company disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied. The Company disclaims any and all liability for the acts, omissions and conduct of any third parties in connections with or related to your stay at the Hotel and/or your usage of any hotel services.
Except where prohibited by law, the Company shall not be liable for any special, indirect, consequential or pure economic loss including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business; depletion of goodwill and/or similar losses.
The Company’s total liability in contract, misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of this Agreement shall be limited to the value of one night's stay at the Hotel.
The Company does not accept liability for loss or damage to any object, equipment, furniture, stock or any other property brought onto the premises by the Guest or persons authorised by the Guest. Storage of luggage or equipment is provided for the convenience of the Guests. The Company will, however, not accept liability for the loss or damage of those items.
You agree to indemnify and hold the Hotel, its officers, directors, shareholders, predecessors, successors in interest, employees, agents, subsidiaries and affiliates harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys’ fees), made against the Hotel by any third party due to or arising out of or in connection with your stay at the Hotel and/or your usage of any hotel services.
The Company shall not be in breach of this Agreement if it does not provide the services under this Agreement due to the following circumstances:
• Industrial action by the Company’s employees
• Industrial action by the staff of one of the Company’s suppliers
• Fire, lighting, explosion, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, extreme weather conditions, storm,
flood, burst pipes, earthquake, terrorism and the Hotel being damaged or destroyed
• Postal bookings which do not reach the Company
• Breakdown of machinery, or any failure to supply the Hotel with gas, electricity, water and so on,
outside the control of the Company
If any of the above occurs the Company will do its best to avoid any inconvenience to you or your Guests.
